The stove required specific cookware to function, which was not clearly communicated. I first attempted to troubleshoot the issue on my own using online resources, including ChatGPT. When that did not work, I contacted the host. His response was dismissive—he questioned whether I had ever used an electric stove before and suggested I ask ChatGPT instead. I explained that I had already done so. He stated that he manages many properties and could not assist over the phone, later calling back to say the stove only works with certain white pots. This was confusing, as other unusable pots were left in the unit without explanation.
I later had trouble using the dishwasher as well. After unsuccessfully trying to resolve it myself, I felt discouraged from contacting the host again based on the earlier interaction.
When leaving a review, I asked ChatGPT how this experience should be rated. Given the repeated appliance issues, lack of clear instructions, and unhelpful communication, I was advised that a 1-star review was appropriate.
