  • Go ahead - pinch yourself - 'NorthStar Golf-Ski Paradise Villa,' a 4-bed, 4-bath home, seems like it's straight out of a dream. This home is a Mid-Centry Design Home originally belonged to one of NorthStar developers. The home was designed by an award winning architect and is located right on the fairway at NorthStars golf corse. Very European feel to the home and it's design. Three of the bedrooms are master bedrooms. The views and location are simply spectacular.
    Required rental agreement will be sent after booking for e-signatures.
    Music is not to be played outside at anytime.
    10:00 PM - 9:00 AM are quiet hours. Hot tub use during those times is not allowed.
    Events, parties, civil unions and weddings are not allowed at the property. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced.
    4 vehicles maximum at the property, at least one must be parked in garage.
    RV's and commercial vehicles are not allowed.
    Street parking is not permitted at NorthStar.

Family Getaway

Great location! We enjoyed the weather, a farmer's market, the hot tub and even went to the Ritz for a cocktail. The house was perfect for relaxing. We hope to be back next year.

Long weekend with family and friends

Fantastic Home

Great Northstar ski accommodation!

We enjoyed our midweek ski vacation with friends and family at this spacious 4 BR, 4 bath Northstar home. We loved the easy ski shuttle access, the beautiful and relaxing picture window views in front of the fire place, the après-ski hot tub, and the wonderfully comfortable bedding. It was a perfect fit for our two families!

Enjoyable winter vacation

Very easy access to Northstar. The kids also had a great time just playing snow outside of then house, golf course covered with snow! House is well-maintained and cozy. Jacuzzi on the patio is awesome too.

Great Vacation

We had stayed at property in 2020 and were delighted to find it was available again this year. The location is great. The manager Vladimir is easy to work with. The property itself has everything you would need for a great stay. Do not hesitate to rent this property.

Amazing location & beautiful home

Had the best time with my family for some spring break skiing. Got lucky with a bunch of snow. The property was amazing. Confortable, clean, everything you need to have a great stay in Tahoe. Very close to Northstar resort. Beautiful view of the golf course. Kids & dog enjoyed playing in the snow out back. We all had an amazing time and truly enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.

Great Stay

Vladimir was very accommodating and checked in with us during the rental period to ensure everything was good. Check in and check out process was simple. The three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms is great for a group of adults with a bunk room for kids. And being on the Northstar property makes it easy to get to and from the Village.

Wonderful summer stay for family!

We just had the best time over our stay, which included two dogs who also loved their stay. The house had everything we needed, let alone Northstar overall. With two washers and dryers, a TV fit for entertainment, large and comfortable bedrooms with en suite baths, and three dishwashers, it has all that anyone could need and more. Outside of the house, the amenities really made our stay exceptional — from the proximity to the golf course and access to the rec center that accompanies the stay, to the free shuttle, to the village, the list could go on! Not to mention that Vladimir was a super responsive and organized host. Check in and check out was seamless.The only thing to be aware of in the summer months is that there is no AC, so if there is a heatwave, the upstairs bedrooms can get quite hot. There are fans in all rooms in the house, nonetheless, and it also cools off at night, but it’s the only flag for future guests to know ahead of time. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful Home - great location

North Star is our preferred ski resort, and this was the first time staying in the North Star community. Location was a few minutes from the resort and close to downtown Truckee for shopping and restaurants. Home had ample room for family and friends. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook/entertain. Everyone had their own bathroom which is a huge plus with all adults. Pet friendly with enclosed deck which allowed our grand dog to go out and play in the snow. Would highly recommend a stay!

Beautiful view, lovely home

The home is well appointed and in a lovely spot with views of the golf course and mountains. Perhaps I did not pay enough attention to the description but we were somewhat surprised that there are three full suites, two upstairs and one on the main level. The fourth bedroom is more of an alcove off the kitchen hallway outfitted with 4 bunks-perfect for children. There is a full bath steps away so it worked out for us. The hot tub seemed to be over chlorinated so we opted not to use it. The driveway is tricky, we drove beyond it and make a u turn which was easier access Overall a great place for a multigenerational get together

Snow time

We loved the location of the house. It allowed the kids and dogs plenty of space to run around and play in the snow out back, which was more fun as apposed to being up in the Village. The house was spacious and clean except for an issue we had with one set up sheets, but it was taken care of immediately when we called. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well appointed with cooking & eating utensils, and lots of dishes. There are three dishwashers so you never have to hand wash along with two washing machines and dryers. The men and kids loved the 85" TV LOL while us ladies enjoyed the hottub in the evening to relax after the kids went to bed. My only thing I would express is bring slippers. The floor is exposed aggregate concrete, which can be a bit tough on bare feet. We all had a great time and truely enjoyed our stay.

Lake Tahoe Ski Trip

We had an absolutely amazing time and really couldn't have asked for anything more during our New Year's ski trip to Northstar. Our party consisted of two families and included five teenagers. The house is large enough to give everyone ample space to spread out and relax. The kitchen was very large and well-equipped. We cooked all meals for the week (except for dinner the last night) in the kitchen and had everything we needed as far as baking dishes, cookware and utensils were concerned. The hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing. We felt everything about this rental was top notch and would definitely come back again! We did not realize how convenient and reliable the bus service to Northstar would be. We parked our cars in the garage the day we arrived and didn't use them again until the day we departed. The shuttle offers door-to-door service from the rental to the resort, which we felt was a HUGE bonus. Vladimir was responsive and we appreciated that as well. Thank you for a week of wonderful memories!

Comfortable house with nice setting

We arranged a family get-together over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The house was light and bright, well-appointed and comfortable. It has an expansive deck that looks over golf course and beyond. While there was snow on the ground, I could see where this would be a great family gathering area in the summer. It has a very large TV that almost over powers the room, but it made for quality viewing. It has extensive audio equipment. However, operation was not obvious and there were no instructions on how to use. Beds were extremely comfortable. On the negative. No coffee pot. There is a Kurreg, but it was hard to use and not cleaned out. We went and bought a coffee maker in town. The fireplace only burns presto-logs and they only provided a few. The handle on main shower was broken which required we invent a hack tool to operate. The biggest issue was the refrigerator did not work. Apparently, it is an ongoing problem. We had to put cold drinks outside and throw out Thanksgiving leftovers and other perishables. We asked the owner for an adjustment, but did not receive a response. Overall, we had a very nice time at the property except for a few inconveniences.

Great layout & very clean, But not so lux & poor communication...

We loved the location and overall layout of this home. It was perfect for our two families with kids, from ages 13-9. We found the home very clean and it was ready for us at 1pm - earlier that the usual 4pm check-in, which was really nice. However, the accommodations were not our standard of "lux" as advertised. The bath linens are more like thin un-fluffy cleaning towels and the kitchen tools are worse than our camping gear. (The spatula handle was attached to the spatula with packing tape!) Other than salt an olive oil, there are no other spices/seasonings, accoutrements in the kitchen. The floors on the main lower level are aggregate concrete, so be sure to bring slippers! The window coverings are from the 80s and difficult to open close with many missing vertical slats. And one of the sliding glass doors in inoperable (with a note on the door not to open), while the other one takes intention to open/close. There have been some upgrades, but the craftmanship is poor. We had to reset all the closet doors upstairs, because they came off track. In the master bathroom, one of the faucets rotates entirely right and left when you turn the water to hot/cold and the hand held shower unit is inoperable. This may be nit-picky, but when you advertise as "lux", that is the expectation set. While all of this is manageable, the most disappointing part was the communication with Vladimir. Although I did receive a few messages from him ahead of our visit re: payment, we never received a contact phone number or person to assist us onsite. We did bring two dogs and were initially charged more than advertised, so I had to point that out to him, which he promptly corrected. I did receive what appeared to be automated messages, but again the fields with a phone number contact was left blank. Upon arrival, we did have an issue with the remote control and Vladimir did respond promptly with a message and had his contact come to us, however she was not able to resolve the issue. Vladimir did call me, but his tone and attitude was as though we were disturbing him. We were told to YouTube our issue and work through it. Vladimir talked over me and didn't listen to my comments. Lastly, we were never given any instructions on how to check out, so just did what we thought was best for the house cleaner. Overall the home was great for our families and we had an amazing visit. But the poor communication and lack of "Lux" accommodations was disappointing.

Last Hoorah in Tahoe

Our yellow lab was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had only days, so we wanted to take her up to Tahoe for a last family trip! We contacted Vladimir at 5 pm and were standing in the House at 10 pm. Vladamir was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The house is SPOTLESS and GEORGEOUS! It's at the ski area but on the golfcourse. We watched the suset every night from the deck. The kitchen has 3 dishwashers!!! Each of the 3 rooms a master suites with there own bunkroom. The beds a cozy and comfy with down comforters and very plushy pillows. Yu are asked to park in the garage it's a dream!!!! A tahoe place with a garage!! Amazing. We were allowed a 5 pm check out as it was a week day. We had a last dream vacation with Daffodil we will never forget. The only down side is the floors are concrete, but we saw that in the photos and brought slipper, no big deal. Thank you Vladamir for an amazing stay!!!!! We are coming back soon!

Great location, great house!

The Northstar area is very scenic, quiet and peaceful in the Summer. Its a great get away destination. It's also only 10 minutes away from Kings Beach in Lake Tahoe, which features a large beach and fun beach town to explore

Beautiful home in a fabulous location

My family (ranging from 1yrs old to adults) found this house comfortable and spacious. There was room for everyone to work (yes, some of us had to work remotely) and definitely play. We will definitely be staying here again sometime soon.

North Star Premier

Great place located on north lake tahoe, as part of north Star. Great location with some features nearby in the village like the Gondolas, seimming people, rooms for exercise, shops, restaurants. Definitly a place to relax se nature and some fauna. We have in mind to come back some day again. We love the place
