The Space:
THE SKINNY:
This seaside escape in Vilano Beach is a one level 3 bedroom home, hiding a beautiful Bali inspired backyard oasis complete with sparkling blue pool and sun loungers. Just a 5-7 minute walk to the beach access (4 blocks) which allows you across Coastal Highway and on to the sand in the presence of the beautiful blue waves! A custom luxury bamboo outdoor shower awaits you to rinse off after a balmy beach day before taking a dip in the sparkling pool. The pool is heated to 84 degrees Nov 1st to April 1st. Sunshine filters through the trees all day on the pool patio, just off the kitchen and living space. Enjoy your coffee in the shade under the covered porch on the comfy lounge set while catching up on your favorite programs on the outdoor TV or fancy a drink in the sun on one of the loungers or with your toes in the pool!
The propane BBQ is a under the covered patio so rain or shine, an at-home dinner can be handled without stress :) Step out into the backyard's tropical cove and get cozy by the wood burning fire pit. Downtown St. Augustine's historic district is a quick drive south and over the Usina Bridge. There you can partake in this city's deep roots, food and beverage scene, as well as tours galore! The boat ramp could not be more convenient. Just a block and a half away, feel free to bring along all the toys! Boats, jet ski, you name it! Drop in and have a day of adventure on the water checking out all that St. Augustine has to offer!
THE PROXIMITY: Just minutes walk to the beach and the boat ramp. Only a 10 minute drive south to historic downtown St. Augustine or 20 minutes drive north to Ponte Vedra for amazing golfing, shopping and dining! A 5 minute drive south takes you down to prime Vilano Beach with restaurants, shopping and a Publix grocery store, plus the main Vilano beach access.
THE SPACE: The home sleeps 9 in 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full over Full Bunk Bed and 1 Twin trundle that rolls out from under the bunk bed. The kitchen is equipped to service your group and cook together for a great night in! The TVs are smart so you can login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows. The bunk bed room sleeps 5 comfortably and boasts a Playstation 4 gaming console!
AMENITIES: Heated pool (with fee to add heat). Beach towels and some beach/pool gear is included. Laundry machines are in the garage. Relax in the stunning outdoor shower before taking a dip in the heated pool. Propane BBQ and wood burning fire pit. Linens and towels included.
THE LAYOUT- This home is single story and has a solid 3/2 layout:
MASTER BEDROOM: King size bed and en suite bathroom with walk in shower
1ST GUEST BEDROOM: Queen size bed
2ND GUEST BEDROOM: Full over full size bunk bed with roll out twin trundle bed.
HALL BATH: Full bathroom with shower/tub combo
OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the dining area and living room so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days.
PARKING: There is a two car driveway that can accommodate up to 4 cars pulled in bumper to bumper. No parking allowed in grass or on street. You will be towed. Garage is accessible to guests. There is no other parking provided.
LAUNDRY: We offer laundry machines in the garage, starter laundry pods + dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience.
HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 10 minute drive south is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. This home is situated very nearby a beach access walkover across Coastal Hwy/A1A! We are steps away! You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses on Vilano Beach at North Beach Park or on St. Augustine Beach or Crescent Beach to park and walk on.
TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $149. This fee is insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1500 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.

The back yard is fully fenced for ultimate privacy.

The Neighborhood:
One of the prime areas of Vilano Beach, you will find the area is bordered to the East by the Atlantic Ocean and to the West by the Tolomato River (or what we St. Augustinians call "The Intercoastal"). Located just a five minute drive from the home is a Publix grocery store with everything you could need! In that shopping center you can rent or buy equipment for any water sports activity. Just a seven minutes drive over the Vilano Bridge is Camachee Cove, where you can rent a boat for the day or charter deep sea fishing tours!
Getting Around:

WEEKLY SERVICES: There are various service providers that visit and maintain the exterior of the property on a weekly basis and the days they visit vary from week to week. These services include lawn care, exterior pest control, trash handling and where applicable, pool and spa cleaners. Some properties may have other specialty service providers. If you see them outside, they are just on site to do their job and keep the home in its best condition for the enjoyment of our guests.
Guests must be 21 or older to book.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
One dog maximum is allowed - 50lb weight limit.
Our dog rent fee is $30.00/Night, $175.00/Week, with a maximum of $300.00/Month.
-This fee is added on to your total after booking confirmation.
-The fee doesn't cover damage caused by your pet. We will provide photos and a handyman quote to fairly assess repair charges.
-Pets must be fully housebroken, freshly bathed prior to arrival and treated with flea and tick meds within 30 days of check in.
-Please share with us any details regarding weight, age, if crated when left alone, if allowed on furniture. If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees!

NOISE LEVELS: There are residents all around on all sides as this is a residential neighborhood. Please respect their right to quiet enjoyment by keeping noise levels down and observing quiet time per St. Johns County ordinance from the hours of 10pm until 8am.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.
