unique place with amazing views near montaverde

The cabin is situated on the cliff side overlooking farm lands. The working farm has tours and demonstrations and was a lot of fun to just walk around while staying there. The cabin is well appointed and also easy to access montaverde. Great place to unplug and relax with a cup of coffee on the porch. It’s a single cabin and very quiet

Our Stay in Monteverde

I loved our stay here so much, I wish we could’ve stayed here for longer then one night. The views were incredible, the host was so nice and attentive, and the place itself had everything you needed. The next time we are in Monteverde we will only be staying here.

Wonderful stay!

This is a wonderful hidden gem, a great place to get away from the city (and the general public!) The view from our room was beautiful, you could see mountains and valleys and every morning the cows came up to our room. They offered a cheese making class, a tour of the farm, and a cooking class! All wth the vest view. The only issue was finding a ride-it was a bit out of the way for uber, so having a rental car may come in handy. All in all, a 10/10 experience

Amazing Views - Part of Nature

The view from the property is EPIC. Close to town. The hosts were so sweet and nice. The cabin was cute and secluded. The water is fresh from the stream, so a little chilly, but manageable. Would recommend as a nice lovers getaway.

Ce petit chalet est juste à l'extérieur de la ville de Santa Helena. Nous pouvions facilement y revenir entre deux activités. L'endroit est paisible et nous entendons peu la route. La vue des montagnes est magnifique. Du balcon, nous avons aussi vu plusieurs animaux: singes, coatis, motmots, colibris,etc. Points négatifs: la douche est tiède/froide et le débit est faible, plusieurs insectes s'y frayent un chemin, la propreté est correct sans plus. Le rapport qualité/prix est très bon et nous le recommanderions à nos amis.

Cozy cabin with spectacular view

My husband and i had a great 3 night stay in the cabin. We enjoyed cocktails on the porch everynight while watching the sunset show. We really enjoyed the bread and empanada making class with Carolina. The cabin was close to attractions and the little kitchen was was very handy.

Farm stay

Orlando and his family are such a beautiful hearted family. The animal experience and getting to know how the farm is worked was great. The class on how to make cheese, empanadas,bread and tortillas by Yolanda was amazing. We enjoyed so much that we cooked all day. The laughs will be remembered for life. Thank ypu for such a great visit!

The property and house were both beautiful! The farm tour is a must and Orlando and his family were extremely welcoming and awesome to talk to. The views are great and it is in a perfect location for privacy and proximity to town. Couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing farm

The family is so friendly! They greeted us upon our arrival even though it was raining really hard. The cabin we stayed in was perfect. It had everything you need and it was super private. The view from the bed was a $1M view. You could actually see the ocean from the top of the mountain. And you have to do the tour of the farm. It was absolutely worth it. What an amazing family and such rich heritage. I highly recommend. And super close to a cool town.

Night time rain and big wind!

The weather was changeable. Absolutely amazing views. We could see the ocean! Also parrots, raptors, songbirds. House as described. Host is welcoming and kind. Access to cloud forest, hummingbird gallery, orchid garden, local brewery. Only issue was complete lack of hot or even warm water.

Perfect getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay on the farm! The host family, who own the farm this little cabin is on, are absolutely wonderful! We took a little stroll on our last morning and visited the operational part of the small farm to visit the baby calves. We didn't get to do any of the farm tours on our short stay but heard great things about them. The cabin is cute and cozy, but not cramped and well set up, with a handy little kitchenette and a big porch. But what really makes this little getaway spot exceptional is THE VIEW!!! The cabin has a giant sliding door as most of the valley facing wall, so you can just marvel at the scenery any time you are in, but we really enjoyed just sitting out on the porch. So much so we just took dinner home one night and sat to watch the sunset. Do note this location is a bit out of town, so you will need to have a car and be comfortable driving country roads if you want to get around during your stay. But if so, this place is a hidden gem and great value. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Beautiful view

Wonderful stay on the farm. Orlando is super nice and there was a lot to see on the property as far as animals. Be sure to get there before sunset because it’s fantastic. Very close to town and easy to find. Only negatives were lack of warm water and coffee maker was broken, but there were 3 other ways to make coffee ! Definitely exceeded my expectations.

This stay is rural and serene. My significant other and I stayed at the farm for two nights. The view is spectacular especially during sunset time. We also did all three activities offered: Night hike with Bruce, Cooking with Carolina, and Farm tour with Orlando. The Vargas family is hospitable, kind, and generous. Highly recommend for a unique stay with attentive and humble hosts in the beautiful Monteverde!
