Overall, it was a good week. We loved the location. That was hard to beat. But the amount of work that needs to be done to the house is significant. I’m not surprised that the photos are a bit deceptive. However, there were things broken, windows that were foggy, steps that were hazardous, handrails that were broken… I’m glad we were able to stay directly on the beach with the convenience of this house, but it needs a lot of TLC.

Beautiful beach view, however the beach home has some issues: loose step on house streps, private walkway to beach not kept up & has sticky burrs in the weeds around the house that get onto your shoes, pet, clothing & inside the house carpets. Some things didn’t work: outside ceiling fans, outdoor furniture worn out, torn, a pile of beach equipment (some broken item thrown on the edge of outdoor deck looks sloppy. You can’t see out through some of the windows because they are either dirty or need repaired. House was okay, but rather worn out. Had great outdoor experience and can walk to Stinky’s Fish Camp and other places.

Beautiful location but property needs work.

The location and views are truly unbeatable—that’s what you’re paying for. However, the property itself is in need of serious maintenance. The sandy driveway leads to tracking dirt into your car, the laundry room has a strong pet urine smell that carries into the kitchen, and the AC struggles to cool the space which leaves you uncomfortable at night. The master bathroom sink was clogged, forcing us to use other sinks, and there were pest issues with ants and roaches. We’ve visited this area for years, and I never leave negative reviews, but for the price, the home fell short of expectations.

Really nice but needs a little work

The place is an awesome location. All the windows look out towards the beach and on the beach only problem is they’re all fogged up and you can’t see through them so you sit in the living room or anywhere in the house. Look out the windows and expect to see the beautiful beach, but you see nothing because it’s fogged over and you have to go outside Which really upset me. The weather was touch and go very windy, but we still wanted to view and had to go out and brave the elements in order to enjoy any kind of view, cause you couldn’t see anything from inside the house please fix your window windows.

Relaxing, beachfront stay

We booked this beach cottage for 2 weeks and had an amazing time! The property location is perfect-right on the beach and a short walk from Stinky’s ( great food,bands). The house was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for 2 couples. We brought a fur baby and it worked out fine walking her down the side street or under the house. We will definitely stay here again and our only recommendation would be a larger TV in the family room for us sports fans. Communication was top-notch as well.

Loved it!

Had a wonderful vacation in A Suite Life. My dog loved being able to relax on the deck with me. It had everything I needed, having beach set up was great. The location is great, gorgeous views. Would definitely book this location again.

Relaxing Beach Escape

We spent 5 nights here relaxing and celebrating our families matriarch. We only left to run to Wal-Mart or pick up dinner nearby. On our last night we ate at Goatfeathers and it was a perfect ending to our getaway.

Beautiful beach location

This property was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The facilities and amenities were excellent, but nothing was too immaculate to cause worry over normal family use. We did have a few concerns about communication with the agent who told us twice we would be texted, but no messages arrived. This proved costly for us as having a U.K. cell phone meant that when phoning the agent it cost us over $8 each time. On the 7th day of our 12 night stay, the door code changed and we were locked out with all our belongings inside. Hence another costly phone call to the agent, who I have to say was not particularly apologetic.

Great ocean view

Enjoyed our week here in late October. Rental was exactly as we expected. Nothing fancy about the house but a fantastic location right on the beach close to all the Dune Allen restaurants and bars. Definitely stay here again!

That killer view!

Loved this place. Perfect location, comfortable well appointed home, and amazing beach. The beach chairs were an added treat. Will definitely be coming back for another dose of beach and sunshine. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us as well.

Beach vacation

Enjoyed our stay for family vacation. This property had all we needed. Beach location was amazing- steps out back door and walking distance to Stinky’s (one of our favorite restaurants). Super fun week. Puppy loved it too.

Wedding dream

It was everything we wanted for our wedding stay! We were able to get married right out in front of the house and after everyone was able to come back up and enjoy time together in this beautiful house! The location is fantastic, communication was great, the house was super clean, the free chairs on the beach were much appreciated, and did i say, the view was spectacular! Thanks for making our special day so memorable!

Spring Break At The Beach

What a location! Down the steps and you are on the Beach. Stand on the back porch and your next the Beach and have a panoramic view of the whole coast line! This place had views and access to the beach better than almost any place we have been. Wow! Only 2 complaints: 1. learned of a TV/WiFi problem two days before arrival. Solution was presented by the owners that worked adequately, bur correction required the cable company to replace the line to the street that had been cut by the power company when they fixed a power outage the week before; 2. Two TVs did not work (probably a power surge tied to the power company repair). The owner quickly replaced on TV (the main living room one), but did not replace the TV in the smaller bedroom. Overall, one of the best vacation spots ever! Would go back in a heart beat.

What a view!

Loved our stay. The property is located on the most beautiful and private beach. Totally spoiled me for future beach trips. The house itself is a bit outdated and porch furniture isn't ideal but what that view, who can complain. We lost power when a lightning strike hit a power line and the property managers were great about keeping us informed and bringing a hot spot for internet. Well done.

Great location, property very worn

Great location to amenities, restaurants and beach. Fabulous view. Fairly clean and tidy. Furnishings are very tired and uncomfortable. Property manager changed access code an hour before check-out time without warning.
