Evaluation Costa Rica RentalWe rented the house for four weeks in February.The ProsThe property was beautiful. A wonderful backyard with a lovely pool and exquisite landscaping. Dining in the backyard with the lighting on was truly paradise. The house was clean, the bedrooms and beds were comfortable. Jeff was quick to respond when we texted or phoned him. Jeff was very helpful planning our excursions. The air conditioner in the Master bedroom did not work and he had it replaced the next day.The ConsThe kitchen was very lacking. When we plugged it in the refrigerator in the kitchen it would not stop beeping and eventually and would not cool. The latch on the small door was broken. We purchased some packing tape to secure it. The beeping stopped, the fridge cooled and the ice trays froze but ice cream was still soft. There were two coffee makers an old percolator and a drip coffee machine with no carafe. The toaster top was melted, the pots and pans had the teflon badly scarped and peeling, none of the knives would cut anything but butter. We purchased a coffee maker, toaster, frying pan, paring knife and a knife sharpener, and some decent wine glasses, (jeff did offer to pay for these items but we declined his offer). Jeff needs to buy a new refrigerator. Buy some new pots and pans and dispose of the old ones.
