Nyt alt som sommeren vind og Atlanterhavet har å tilby fra denne fantastiske tre soverom, to bad oceanfront leilighet! Du vil kunne gå rett ut til bassenget og stranden fra denne første etasje hjørneenheten. Denne leiligheten har ny maling, nytt teppe, nytt lysarmatur, ny kroneforming, nye plantasjeskodder og nesten alle nye apparater! Det romslige og åpne oppholdsrommet gjør dette til en av de beste gulvplanene på Summer Winds. Hovedsoverommet har en queen size seng, det andre soverommet har to tvillinger og det tredje soverommet har en pyramide køyeseng (tvilling på toppen, full på bunnen). Sengetøy er inkludert med reservasjoner på fem netter eller mer. Denne enheten leier lørdag til lørdag. Ligger i bygning B.

Summer Winds gir et fantastisk antall rekreasjonsfasiliteter som gjør det til "feriestedet" for leietakere år etter år. Pleasant stay

We enjoyed it. Just remember you have to take shampoo and soap plus beach towels otherwise things are provided.It was a very pleasant stay because it was very close to our condo where the rest of the family was staying. The location is ideal. First floor. close but not too close to the pools.

great location, though needs some updating

Overall, the condo was nice and in a great location. However, the guest bedrooms mattresses and bedding needs replaced. The bunk room especially, the top boxspring had strings hanging all down and the comforters are like a paper towel-thin and had a big hole in it. The stove is off balance; screen door had fallen off; no proper Knives and what was there was too dull to cut anything; coffee pot was moldy; poor water pressure in the master shower; guest bathroom had mold in shower head; the TV's are outdated; and to top it off, we found a poisonous snake inside the condo.

Very poor management

At first I will not lie management was great with emailing back and forth with us before we got there. They even helped us add another night that we needed for the wedding we there for... However things turned quickly. We arive just after midnight to the location to get our keys which by the way is 15 minutes away from the actual place so plan accordingly there.. While we are unpacking our things the kids are just playing a little and there feet are black from the amount of dirt on the floors. Next morning wake to eat something at the dinning room table. Have to clean that off as it was disgusting. Send pictures over to the management and while we are waiting for a response we have to kill 3 bugs. And not just a little thing.. a spider the size of a half dollar and 2 round bugs the size of a penny.. I get email back saying that they will send the cleaning crew out again to clean the floors and the place again while we are out.. Great and once they did come back the place was much better... However where we had the biggest problem is when management called and the lady on the phone doesn't seem to care at all and not taking any ownership of the cleaning crew possible not doing there job.. Her first comment to me was " we obviously are not going to make you happy so what I will do for you right now is offer you a full refund for you to leave right now!!" It's Memorial Day weekend mind you, do you think anything else out there would be available?? Then comments on the pictures we sent over about the table that we whipped down saying that it looks like we whipped the finish off the table... HUH?? We used a paper towel and water... Whoever owns this place should really look into something else as this was the worse experience we had with a management company through VRBO.

Overpriced and not as expected

We paid premium for this location. Summer Winds is a place near and dear to my heart. The place was dirty and stunk with a damp old musty smell. I grew up going to summer winds and know what a well kept condo looks like. Everything had stains on it even the mattress covers had stains. They did not provide linens since we only stayed 4 nights. They did not communicate what that really entailed. There were no dish towels, no bath mats, no tissues, no dishwasher detergent. All those things were not listed on the must bring list. They do not provide paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap etc. Summer winds is a wonderful place to stay but I would not recommend staying at this condo based on the conditions I stayed in.

Weekend with family

The pool and beach access were close to the condo which was great. With it being on the first floor it made it easier bringing bags back from the pool and beach. Appliances were updated and nice. Be prepared to bring your own cleaning supplies. I was overall disappointed by the cleanliness of the condo. There was a dried spill on the backside of the bar where the eating chairs were. The guest bathroom had mold growing on the wall near the shower as well as the vent and ceiling. The shower curtain had mold and mildew on it too.

We love the locations of the condo! Close to the beach and pool !

If your a foodie and love to cook on your vacation with all the fresh seafood! Bring your own cookware utensils knifes serving bowls sheet pans ect!! We read the reviews and brought our own cleaning supplies, which was a good thing! Condo needed a good cleaning . The master mattress has been upgraded but the other bedrooms need a upgrade ! Bring your own pillows too!! On a positive note we loved the location steps to the pool and a short walk to the beach! Was able to have coffee from the patio and watch the ocean in the morning! We would rent this unit again ! But be better prepared! Not our first condo at summer Wind and not our worst either !!

Great Location

It is a fantastic location. First floor, no steps, right across from one of the 4 pools. Only a few steps from the steps to the ocean. A few things really need addressed-the cleanliness of the bathrooms-I ended up buying some cleaner and a Mr. Clean eraser to clean the bottom of my tub. The bathrooms really need updated, especially the shower heads. I could see that some of the beds had been newly purchased, however the rest need to be replaced. The kitchen sink leaks. Refrigerator and microwave are new. Washer and dryer were good, too. The silverware needs replaced or at least add some forks and spoons. You also need basic kitchen stuff like dishwasher pods, liquid dish soap and paper towels. Overall, we had a great vacation. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location for kids

Ground floor, right next to the pool. Ocean was maybe a 100 steps away. Beaches were white sand and beautiful. Lots to do within 10-30 minutes for day trips. Only suggestion- make sure to bring basic kitchen stuff like paper towels, and kitchen towels. There were plenty of cookware, but no coffee filters or other basic staples.

Relaxing and peaceful

Great location, right next to one of the pools and short walk to the beach. This is a lovey unit. I would recommend the owners write about the TV and usage of the remote it took us a while to get the sound on. But overall, the beach is gorgeous. It it quite in October. I cannot day what it is like in the summer but definitely go for a little R&R. I was visiting my son for his liberty weekend from Marines.

Excellent location!!!

This was our second time this summer staying at summer winds and our second unit. The location of this one was AMAZING! We typically never stay on a bottom unit but being able to walk right out to the pool and not having to tote things up and down stairs sounded very appealing so we went for it and I am so glad we did! We had 4 adults and 2 children staying in the unit and everyone was very comfortable and had their own space. The bathrooms are very small so be prepared for that and the rooms do not have ceiling fans so if you are used to sleeping with a fan, I recommend bringing a portable one, the unit should have a stand alone fan in each room in my opinion. The cleanliness was sub-par if you ask me. There was a huge rug in living room that was just kind of gross and same with under the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked which was nice. Both bathroom shower heads were HORRIBLE! I should have let the property manager know but forgot, this is a simple upgrade that would make a HUGE difference! Everyone enjoys a nice shower when coming in from the beach and that was IMPOSSIBLE in these showers. There was also like 4 lights out which was annoying but we just dealt with it, the place could use better lighting overall. Overall this place was great (especially the location of the unit on the property) but the cleanliness could use a step up, especially during these times. We would stay again.

Great location for pool/beach! HORRIBLE BEDS!!

This condo’s (SW 204B) proximity to the pool/beach access is ideal. The beds, specifically mattresses, are HORRENDOUS! Specifically, the master and the bunks (top bunk is inaccessible as the ladder is against the wall. We didn’t use the top as I was uncomfortable with my 6 year old getting up/down. She thought the dresser at the end of the bed was the perfect way to access. Thank God we were in the room when she shared this idea and thankful she listened when we shared the dangers of attempting such! This is an accident waiting to happen!) My husband and I slept in the master and by the end of the week our 30-something backs were killing us! Bring extra pillows as well. I will also add, the kitchen is ill-equipped, to say the least, and things like a working can opener- you may way to bring. No blender. Not even a simple plastic pitcher. Don’t overdo grocery purchases as dry storage is limited but workable. There is also a lack of flatware so we found ourselves running the dishwasher after every meal so we could have a fork/spoon/knife when needed. All negatives aside, we did enjoy our vacation and loved walking out the door to the pool/beach. Just a heads up. Based on previous reviews and mine, I hope the owner will make some simple improvements to make this condo, and its location, the gem even we could see through the rough.

Summer Winds

The condo complex is well cared for and the numerous pools was an added bonus. Our one complaint was the unit was advertised as sleeping 8 but there were only beds for 7. It was clean but the bathrooms were a bit dated and the bedding/pillows could have been better. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location

Cute condo with great location and easy access to pools and beach! Would like to stay again if beds were upgraded. The bottom of the barrel mattress was a bummer and had me sleeping on the couch near the end of the stay.
