Krautinsel is where our vacation rental gets its name. It lies between Fraueninsel and Herreninsel and is the smallest of the three islands in Lake Chiemsee. The island got its name, Krautinsel, because cabbage (Bavarian for “Kraut”) was grown there in the Middle Ages.

The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Four ceramic cooktops, an oven, a microwave, a sink, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher are all part of the standard amenities.

In the cozy living area with two sleeper sofas, you can relax and unwind as the day comes to a close.

There’s also a workspace with a desk and a desk lamp.

The two comfortable single box-spring beds can be seamlessly joined to form a 1.60-meter-wide double bed.

There’s plenty of storage space to hang and store clothes and other items.

The bathroom features a shower and a washer-dryer.
