Dolmans Retreat

This spacious, self contained accommodation is perfect for people working in the local area, or singles and couples wanting a home away from home getaway!

Located not far off the A35 and a short drive from local attractions such as Upton Country Park, Swanage, Sandbanks Beach, Wimborne, Studland and Dorchester. With onsite parking, a private entrance, and large garden to sit out in the sunshine!

There is a living room with views of a large field, a 55” TV with Netflix, Youtube etc, board games, books, DVD’s and a DVD player.

You will also have your own kitchenette fully equipped with a sink, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fridge freezer, double hob and cooker, toaster, cutlery, plates and pots and pans.

The bathroom is very spacious with an electric shower and instant hot water, Towels, hand soap and shampoo & shower gel.

The bedroom has views looking out over the garden and countryside, including Corfe Castle, a double bed with fresh linen, bedside tables and lamps, a dining table and chairs for two.

Outdoors there is a bench to sit in the sun, a table and chairs to sit just outside the kitchen and also a table and chairs outside the bedroom to sit and take in the views! We also have a large garden which we are more than happy for you to explore.

There is a lockbox at the entrance to the property with sensor lights that come on at night. Please note there is one or two steps to get into the property and within.

Self check in is available and I will message you the day before check in with all information. If preferred I can meet you when you arrive and show you where things are. Furthermore, you can message any time on VRBO or via text or call and I will be happy to help.

We would like to be very honest to ensure that your stay is exactly as you expect it, so please note the following ahead of booking your stay.

We are still decorating some areas and getting the property exactly up to the standard we want it to be at, therefore you may notice small imperfections such as spots that need another coat of paint etc.

The boiler located in the kitchen can be quite noisy when running water or flushing the toilet but it doesn’t stay on for too long.

Please also be aware that our own property is connected to your accommodation so you may hear us in our day to day lives or walking upstairs, but we will always be respectful, quiet and we aren’t a noisy family in general.

If you come without a car or plan to use public transport the nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk and the local pubs and Tesco express in the village are a 30 minute walk away.
