Scottsdale noise ordinance defines "excessive noise" as any noise in this way: Loud enough to be heard beyond the property line of the source of the noise. Likely to disturb the peace or quiet of a neighborhood, family, or person. The ordinance also sets specific decibel limits for different types of noise.
