When we arrived air wasn’t working. Host suggested going outside to flip the circuit breaker but said there were fans. One bedroom had no comforter or blanket, just a sheet. Lamp had no lampshade just a bare bulb. Stove top burners only had a high setting, even when set on low. One burner of the 4 didn’t work at all. Downstairs shower didn’t drain so you stood in inches of water. Hair on shower wall. Back room living room couch was broken. Remote batteries didn’t work. Slept in room with horrible urine smell. Finally realized it was the bed pillow that had been slept on. After removing the pillow case, found a large urine stain on the pillow. Disgusting! Bathroom drawers fell open which was dangerous for little ones. Top drawers rested on the lower drawer which made it almost impossible to open. None of the tv remotes had backing which exposed batteries, again dangerous for little ones.Toilet paper holders were broken. Hot water worked sometimes but no hot water twice for showers. The home is in need of much repair. The home staged beautifully but not reality. We hosted our two children and they’re families and were extremely embarrassed! For the amount of money we paid, we had expected much more than what we were stuck with. Very disappointing. Doubt we will use Vrbo again. The homes we’ve rented thru Vrbo in the past were nothing like this one, even in Mexico. Very embarrassed by what we had hoped would be a wonderful reunion.
