Great location on Main Street. Easy access to Trails. Kitchen was very handy. We enjoyed our stay! We would stay again.Just a note - If you are older or limited in mobility, the bath tub and bed may be difficult for you.

We had a great stay here. It was a great location and worked perfectly for my husband and college-aged son. It was immaculate, and it was nice to have a kitchen where I could cook a few meals. The A/C worked well, and the windows provided a cool breeze on a cooler night. The owners/management were quick to respond to my questions and concerns. There is only parking for one vehicle, so my son parked on Main Street and we didn't have any issues with that. Just know that the carport is behind the unit, uphill. You must walk down the stairs to get to the main door. We didn't have any issues with this, but I know that others may. We suggested to the management that lights might be helpful in this area.

Ouray summer trip

This was the first time to visit this area to stay. We had passed through on a fall CO trip and really loved the area and the town. This little house was perfect for just the two of us. The hosts were very willing to answer any questions and we had everything we needed. They have a covered carport that was large enough for our Jeep and someone else staying in the other apartment also had a Jeep. There was plenty of room for both. The rental was quiet. It is, however down a metal set of stairs to the outside landing. We did not mind them, but someone with mobility issues might.

Cascade falls

Everything was as expected we had a maintenance question which was resolved immediately, and we were very pleased to have covered parking for our vehicle. That was a nice perk. You should use that in your listing because it is very valuable in the winter time particularly

Not my best vrbo stay...

Truthfully, I was a little disappointed in my stay, especially with the cost of the property. First when I arrived, there was a code given, however when I got there the door was just unlocked which felt a little off to me. On top of that I couldn't really tell if the door was locked or not the first evening which made me concerned. Another comment I would make is with the whole room being wood, there is a lot of creaking. I am a very early riser compared to my partner and because there is no privacy, I couldn't really move around or do anything without waking up my partner. The next day I was up and trying to make coffee and after searching high and low for coffee filters, I found none, which was confusing due to it being on the listing that coffee/coffee filters would be provided. I messaged the host and waited awhile, so I went to buy a coffee. The concerning part was during the time I was gone, someone from their team entered my room and placed coffee filters on the counter. While this was appreciated, I did not feel comfortable with the fact that someone was entering my room with all of my belongings without my permission. Later in the day we ended up getting some mud on our clothes and they provided laundry detergent pods (pro) so I thought I would do a load when I get back. Again I message the host to find out there is no laundry on site, which was disappointing and confusing. Overall, it is a good location but I would not stay here again, especially for the cost.

In-town rustic

The property is conveniently located, short walk to the main street where there are shops and restaurants. It was quiet, even though there is construction next door and an adjacent unit. It was clean, although the floor felt a little gritty. The parking is tight in the carport when there are two guests, and the parking area and stairs to the building are not lit.

Great location

The rental was nice and seemed to be well-kept. It has everything we needed and was located in a great location, which made it easy to get around town and to local hiking trails, hot springs, etc. We were not given one of the needed codes to get into the room, but communication with the property management was quick and efficient. Some of the directions for checkout varied between what was written online versus a printout in the room. The only other item of note is the parking is a bit tight when sharing with the other rental in the building, but overall we were happy with our stay.

Perfect Weekend Destination!

To say that we enjoyed our stay in Ouray is an understatement. The property was very inviting, clean, and spacious. Not to mention the mountain view’s from the west suite were phenomenal! Conveniently located right on Ouray’s main street, the property allows for walkable access to the town’s shops and restaurants. There are metal stairs leading down from the car port to the back door, which is where you enter/exit the property. It was slightly difficult bringing luggage up and down, and the stairs can get icy, so just beware if you have mobility issues or are clumsy like me! We didn’t face too many challenges apart from that. Also, the bathtub is beautiful, but it is pretty deep, so just be careful! I would most definitely recommend staying at this property!

Good stay in Ouray

Enjoyed our time at this cute home. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, all the necessities provided. Just off Main Street so it was easy to get to restaurants and shops, as well as the Perimeter Trail. Didn’t hear a lot of road noise from the streets so that was a bonus.
