Santa Cruz Lakeside Retreat - 12

A tranquil location very close to all happenings in the area. We are only 3 miles from Bayfront, 5th Ave and 3rd St. 5th runs West for several blocks ending at the Gulf of Mexico. 3rd St ties into it just at the West end. Both 5th Ave and 3rd St are loaded with shopping and restaurants. All roads heading West end at the Gulf and all beaches are open for public use. We are blocks from a Publix Grocery that is in a small mall housing Starbucks, Subway, Aldos (great Italian including pizza), Tacos & Tequila (a very popular Mexican Restaurant) and of course a Subway and the mandatory take out Chinese food.
We have recently built a new heated salt water pool. The pool is private and is only used by our small community of 4 condominiums.

Perfect location for SW fun

We (my husband and our dog,Daisy) stayed at the Santa Cruz Lakeside Retreat mid-January to mid-April 2024. The location was perfect for exploring SW Florida. We made several trips to Corkscrew Sanctuary, The Everglades, and Ding Darling Refuge for amazing wildlife and birdwatching. The amenities at “the lakeside retreat” include a beautiful pool and a lovely 1+ mile paved walking path around the lake. There are other walking paths and pickleball court nearby. It’s also convenient to restaurants and a market. The beautiful Naples beach and 5th Avenue are a short drive away. The primary bedroom, on second floor, is very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Michael is a welcoming and attentive and addressed any issues immediately. It was hard to say goodbye to this lovely home away from home.

Better than advertised!

This was a gorgeous property. The landscaping was so beautiful it was like being in the middle of a tropical oasis. The kitchen was so well stocked with snacks and necessary items to use for cooking! And the host was amazing!! Wish we could have stayed and walked around that peaceful lake every morning forever!

Pride in Ownership

We have stayed at several VRBO’s and have never found one where the owner takes as much pride in ownership as they do at Kings Lake. The interior of the property is great, but it’s the exterior, especially the landscaping, that was truly amazing (including the front, rear, and around the pool). Oh, and the pool is brand new and beautiful. As others report, the walking trail around the lake is great. Took walks every morning and some evenings. We were very grateful that we found this place.

We Love This Property & Its Owner

We have stayed in both the two and the three bedroom properties which are side by side. Michael is an incredibly meticulous owner. The pool is an excellent addition to the villas. You can enjoy the walking trails, the pool, and everything you could need is so close by. The beach is a 15 minute drive including parking there. Lovely place, we will be back!

Very good

The property worked well for us. There was plenty of room for my wife and dog as well as a couple of weekend guests. Nice outside sitting area as well. It was good to have the lake to walk around with our dog. Michael was a great host. Whenever we needed anything; he took care of it. Woul rent again.

Naples Getaway

Wonderful place for your Naples vacation. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well supplied with treats, beverages, coffee, bathroom and cleaning supplies, and beach chairs. By lovely pond with fish, ducks, birds, and fun walking path around it. Would love to go back.

Extremely well-equipped house in great Naples location

My wife and I were astonished at how well equipped the house was, especially the kitchen which had everything you'd ever need to cook, and high-end appliances. Everything else was very clean and clearly well-cared for. Michael was very responsive and helpful in his communication. For those who want to use all three bedrooms, just be aware that there aren't separate doors on the two bedrooms upstairs and the upstairs bathroom. King's Lake is a very nice, quiet neighborhood that's close to downtown Naples, so it was easy to go to 5th Avenue for dinners out.

Naples Vacation

Comfortable condo

Quiet getaway in beautiful Naples

The property was true to the description and pictures. A neat design and layout with updates throughout. Easy drive to shopping, downtown, and the beaches. Our family enjoyed taking daily walks around the lake. Beautiful area. The back yard was under construction while we were there with tree work, and the pool was closed for updates. The owner was good to communicate what we were to expect, though. We look forward to returning to see how the property looks when improvements are finished. We would stay again.

Our Stay!

The location of this property is fantastic. The townhouse is on a quiet street, which we loved, near a beautiful lake. This location is also with minutes of a supermarket, Walmart and other shopping areas! You can be at resturants and bars on the bay in about 10 minutes! If we were to visit Naples again, I would definitely rent this place again. We had the pleasure of meeting Mike when we were there and he was helpful on when to visit the beach!
