This spacious conch-style home is a rare ground-level property situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico, with stunning oceanfront views. Your dream vacation in paradise starts here, with the added bonus of a large, landscaped yard, a private pool, and a private 110-foot deep-water fishing pier/boat dock, complete with a boathouse and bait freezer.

Interior: The home features individual mini-split air conditioning units in every room, allowing you to control the temperature for ultimate comfort during your stay. Throughout the house, you’ll find hand-cast Terrazzo flooring. The large, inviting living room boasts tropical-themed decor with a sofa, armchairs, coffee table, end table, lamps, a lighted ceiling fan, a 55” flat-screen Smart HD TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an office desk. The family room has large windows offering gorgeous views of the Florida Keys palm trees.

Master Suite: The master suite includes a queen-size bed, dressers, nightstands with lamps, a ceiling fan, a large flat-screen TV, and its own remote-controlled mini-split AC unit. The attached full bathroom features a step-in tiled shower/tub. The master suite also offers a private entry door leading to the back patio, pool area, and dock.

Guest Bedrooms: Both the second and third guest bedrooms have a queen-size and a single bed, for a total of 5 beds in the house (3 queens, 2 singles), ensuring everyone has a real bed. Each room is equipped with its own remote-controlled mini-split AC unit, ceiling fans, and ample storage. Like the master suite, both guest rooms have private entry doors that open to the patios and pool area, allowing guests to come and go without disturbing others.

Kitchen: The fully stocked kitchen includes a built-in microwave, gas range, oven, dishwasher, and side-by-side refrigerator with ice/water dispenser. You’ll find a complete array of dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and small appliances like a toaster, coffee maker, and a margarita machine. The indoor dining area features French doors that open to the outdoor patio, offering more stunning water views.

Laundry: A separate laundry room off the kitchen includes a full-size washer and dryer, a folding area, and a second full-size refrigerator.

Pool Area: The custom pool is a large in-ground pool (3 to 6 feet deep), heated or chilled as needed. The two-tier outdoor patio is equipped with patio tables, chairs, sun loungers, and a gas grill. Enjoy morning coffee or stunning sunsets on the patio or poolside, with only the landscaped yard and boat dock separating you from the water.

Dock/Pier/Boathouse: The 110-foot deep-water dock features dock lights, 15-amp electric (with 30-50 amp available at extra cost), a large fish cleaning station, and outbound mooring pylons for larger boats. With direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, it’s only a short boat ride to the Vaca Cut or 7 Mile Bridge for Atlantic Ocean adventures, including world-class fishing, snorkeling, and diving. A private boathouse provides storage for fishing and dive gear, and a full-size bait freezer is available for guests. We’ve thought of everything, including a gas grill to cook up your catch of the day!

Boat Ramp: There are several nearby boat ramps, with one of the best located just down the street at 33rd Street on the Gulf side. It’s only ½ mile by water back to our dock. Boat fuel is available at a nearby fuel dock, also just ½ mile away.

Kayaks: This rental includes complimentary kayaks, allowing guests to explore the Gulf waters, nearby mangroves, or fish from the kayaks.

Parking: The large circular driveway provides ample parking for your boat trailer and vehicles.

Area Attractions: Turtle Cove Escape is conveniently located near popular attractions such as the Turtle Hospital, Crane Museum, Aquarium Encounters, and Dolphin Research Center, all just minutes away. Marathon is the ideal location for a Keys vacation. Situated in the heart of the Florida Keys, it’s a short drive to Key West, where you can enjoy local haunts and the famous sunset at Mallory Square. Stop along the way for mini-golf at Boondocks or head in the other direction to explore John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, just 45 minutes away. Marathon has it all—shopping, restaurants, bars, marinas, bait & tackle shops, dive shops, and more.

Beaches: You’re just a few minutes away from the best beaches in the Florida Keys, including Sombrero Beach and Bahia Honda State Park. Rent this home and have your “toes in the sand” in no time!
Seasonal Seaweed Notice: Like much of the Florida Keys, our canal can experience seaweed at certain times of the year. On the ocean side, this usually happens in summer while gulf-side canals see it more in winter. It’s a natural part of the area and may affect the canal during your stay, especially if you’re staying in the winter months.

* Pool Heat/Chill is available for an additional $200 per week (plus tax), and $28.57 per additional day (plus tax) thereafter.

*Pet Fee is $250 and 1 pet max (PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PETS ON TO ANY BEDS- If pet hair is found in any of the beds there will be an extra fee charged. The fee will be the amount of the original cleaning fee.)
* A 3.9% fee of entire booking amount applies to ALL CANCELATIONS.
* Security; The home has a private gated entrance and fenced landscaped yard, the property uses security cameras to monitor the outside property.
