The Nature House is a perfect mix of charm and location!

  • Historic home located in downtown Madison. Walking distance to all the shops, dining, riverfront, and the bridge to KY. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect for couples or groups. Modern kitchen with all the amenities you will need. Beautiful deck and patio out back with comfortable furniture and a fully fenced yard for enjoying the view or hanging out. The decor was inspired by Mother Nature and each room is decorated with gorgeous animal prints. Three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses for a good nights sleep. An office for work that also has a convertible couch for additional sleeping arrangements. Smart TVs, free WIFI, games and books provided. Free off-street parking and a space for a golf cart rental. Perfect location for all the downtown dining and shopping, the Regatta, festivals, walks along the riverfront, and hiking Clifty Falls State Park.

Terrific place! Love the decor and the host has supplied it with everything needed and then some! Great location as well, convenient to everything in Madison. We had a great time!

Walked to downtown activities (cute town with cute shops), location great, close enough to Clifty Falls for a quick drive and a hike!

The Nature House is very close to all the restaurants and shops, about a 30 minute leisurely walk. The house had every thing we needed. You can squeeze two cars in the driveway and there was plenty of street parking as well. The beds are memory foam, which i typically don't like, but I slept so good, as did everyone else! Host was great to work with, we had no issues during our stay. I would highly recommend The Nature House.

Great Place to Stay

The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked, including a supply of coffee and snacks. Location was great for walking to the downtown area, as well as the river park. Would definitely stay here again!

Multi-Generational Family Trip

Traveling with both senior parents and young children, this house worked out very well as a home base for the 8 of us who were visiting local family and soaking up some "Madison". We had a lovely time.

Cozy and Welcoming

This was a delightful property, very clean, and super cute! We came to Madison to hike Clifty Falls. The weather for hiking was dreary and very wet, which made this home feel all the more cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling with kids.

Excellent stay at the Nature House. Convenient for walking to town, clean, loaded with amenities, we had an awesome stay. It was our first time in Madison. What a lovely historic town. We enjoyed 2 days of the Ribberfest, hiking Clifty Falls State Park, shopping and eating up town, and a fun time at Victory Lanes which was duck bowling, awesome wine & bourbon bar and awesome moody speakeasy downstairs. Fabulous Weekend!!

Would love to come back

The property was beautiful. The house was amazing and unique. It was a nice walk to get to the stores and restaurants (might be too long for some, but for our group it was good). The neighborhood was nice, neighbors, too. We felt safe and welcome.

Beautiful, Historic Home with Great Amenities

Our family of four stayed for three nights during spring break. The home has everything we needed, including a fenced backyard for pets. Jennifer was a gracious host, and we enjoyed our stay. Its location allowed us to take nice walks in a historic residential neighborhood without getting in a car.

What a perfect home for our family! We had a little bit of a hiccup when arriving but it was taken care of pretty quickly. This place has everything you need and plenty of it! I was delighted that there was shampoo and condition and body wash for use (even though, we brought our own) but it was a nice touch. We had 7 adults and I wandered about towels and as it turned out, we had plenty! The location was perfect for shopping and the short walk to the main street where the Christmas parade took place. The space was cozy and open and had plenty of seating for everyone! I will definitely save this listing for future stays!
