## Emplacement
The 7th arrondissement, between the Rhône (to the west), the Cours Gambetta to the north, the 8th arrondissement to the east and the commune of Saint-Fons to the south. This is Lyon's largest arrondissement. It is located on an almost flat area, the alluvial plain of the Rhône.
