First of all, the guy at the desk was perfectly accommodating and helpful. No complaint there. But the hotel itself, -5 stars. This was the nastiest hotel I’ve stayed in since my high school wild days chasing the girls and a case of beer. I booked on Expedia and when I got there, I was asked if I wanted to pay extra for a “nicer” room. I declined and took the room I booked. It was down hill from there. I went to the room and it was absolutely horrific. It should absolutely be aired on Mike Rowe’s Dirtiest Jobs for the housekeeping there. I laughed it off. Went back to the desk, and told the guy, “ok, you got me, I’ll pay the extra for a better room. So he gave me new keys and I went on my way. I open the door, and all the drawers are open on the furniture and about 150 pennys are on the little cuck table. I went to the bathroom to inspect and that was a big nope. So I went back to the guy, said “man, I this room isn’t clean. The bed is made, but it’s dirty.” He apologized and gave me another room but this time he went with me. I shook it off and kept my patience and went on my way to the next disaster. Same result, filthy room. Crud everywhere. Bathroom nasty. Filth on the shower liner. Just absolutely gross. He saw it all too. Apologized and i said, “Buddy, I’ll give you one more chance to get this right. You’ve charged me extra for a clean room, and that’s what I want.” So the next room was better. It still was unacceptable. I stayed. But boogers on the wall. Never again.
