Lovely, quiet gîte in the countryside 20 min from the ocean, 1h from Puy du Fou

A true symbol of freedom, the bird is often associated with dreams.
That's the promise of this pretty cottage, "Les Wazos", with its natural tones, for a restful, calm and stress-free stay... inviting you to disconnect from everyday life, while enjoying the surrounding nature (ocean, marshes...).
The house is located in a hamlet, close to Luçon and 2 minutes' drive from the ocean (nearest beach = La Tranche Sur Mer).
We are two dynamic fifty-somethings, Alexia and Xavier, originally from Franche-Comté. We moved to the Vendée in 2022 and, as we love exchanging and sharing experiences, we decided to completely renovate the house in 2023 to open two gîtes.
We focused on comfort. So you'll be able to enjoy a king-size bed (180cmx200cm) with a mattress topper for a peaceful night's sleep.
We've also created a real kitchen where everything is available for convivial moments.
The bathroom is large and spacious, with a window for extra light.
There are board games and books for when you need a break.
In the living room, the sofa bed means you can sleep two extra people in comfort.
The terrace is adorned with two large palm trees, so you can relax and unwind.
Last but not least, you can visit all the must-see places: La Rochelle, Nantes, le Puy du Fou, le Futuroscope, l'Ile de Ré, les Sables d'Olonne, etc...
