From its cozy, wood-paneled rooms to its prime location at the edge of Wallowa Lake State Park, this single-story home offers a classic escape to Joseph and the Wallowas. This is a place to spend your days hiking, fishing, riding the tramway, and taking in the dramatic beauty of the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area.

This home enjoys a wonderful setting on the south side of Wallowa Lake, a six-mile drive from the small, scenic town of Joseph. Within half a mile or so, you'll find the Wallowa Lake Tramway up to the top of 8,200-foot Mt. Howard, the Wallowa Lake Trailhead, and the beloved state park with its swimming beach, great fishing spots, and picnic areas. Ferguson Ridge Ski Area is only 16 miles east as well.

Greet sunny mornings outside on the spacious front deck, the perfect spot to sip a cup of coffee with a view of the surrounding mountains. The outdoor spaces are equally lovely after a day of adventure, whether you're barbecuing on the gas grill, sipping cold drinks at one of the outdoor dining tables, or watching your kids play in the backyard and on the play structure.

Head inside with ease, thanks to front and rear entrance ramps, and make yourself at home in the open living space. Curl up by the wood-burning fireplace, set up a board game with a movie playing in the background, or get started on dinner in the kitchen. Feel free to use the office space, which includes a small desk, business chair, and additional lighting, to catch up on some remote work. The provided high-speed internet ensures you'll get things done in no time. A private washer/dryer is also on hand for your convenience.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Firewood is supplied in the firewood box and in the storage unit by the play structure. The combination padlock code is in the welcome book.
Each room contains independent thermostats for controlling the baseboard wall heaters. Please turn them down when departing or when the room is closed and not being used.
The living room couch contains a queen-sized hide-a-bed, while the entry room has a convertible bed for additional sleeping options.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
