At arrival and during check-in everything was fine at first, but there were several issues with the room. Unfortunately, we had to expect insects. The portable stove plates looked extremely old almost as if they had been brought straight from Chernobyl and they didn’t work properly. The dishes were partly dirty. The bed was uneven, which later caused me back pain.
The room door had a gap at the bottom, so noise and unpleasant smells like cigarette smoke or chemical odors entered the room and disturbed the atmosphere.
The biggest problem for me was the water supply. Several times there was no water at all. In the shower I often had to take cold showers and only rarely had warm water.
However, the staff were very friendly. Mr. Yahya was especially kind, patient, and helped with every problem. The man responsible for laundry and hygiene was also very nice. The miss receptionist was friendly as well, but could show a bit more energy for guests in the future.
These three were good hosts. The owner should definitely give them a salary raise. It would also be good if the owner invested more in renovating and improving the interior of the hotel.
