Spacious Guest House, Handicap Accessible!

Welcome to our Moonmist Oasis! Centrally located in Houston, Tx our property is like no other. We tried to make it as handicap accessible as possible, complete with large doorways and handrails. We have private covered parking and private entrance to the guesthouse. Depending on traffic we are 15-30 min from the Medical Center, and everything cool to do in Houston like museums, stadiums , china town, Galleria mall, and delicious food. Kids and pets are welcome with plenty of outdoor space.

Nice property, but the area and neighbors were not at great

The property was pretty nice inside. It was spacious enough for our group to have plenty of room to move and bring our things in out of the car. Arriving and seeing the number of cameras on all the neighbors and hosts home was a surprise, as well as barred up businesses. The only thing that really was an issue with the property was the neighbors. Our stay was 3 nights and all 3 nights they were so loud that it was very easy to hear EVERYTHING inside the house into the late hours of the night, and starting up again at 6 am. This did impact one of the team members staying at the house and made it really difficult to sleep. One of the nights we stayed the neighbors hosted a birthday party and the music was so loud and so profane that we were all thanking our lucky stars that our group of kids weren't along for the weekend as usual, because it was over 3 hours of music that had severe profanities every other word (literally). Then after the profane stuff was over, it was just loud mariachi/karaoke until the sun was long gone. Security features on property include common area cameras, a door lock on the front door that is both keyed and coded, and a keyed gate to the yard. For pets- it is also helpful to know that the yard included in tenant space does not include grass. There is grass on the property, located in the front of the house, outside the fenced area for pups that need it.

Clean, quiet, spacious

This was exactly what we were looking for! There was plenty of space for 5 people and a dog, probably could fit around 7 comfortably. There is only one bathroom, but it was large and updated, as was the kitchen. The beds were really comfortable and there were lots of pillows! Nice space outside! Although it looks like a shared backyard, we really had our own space and it was well designed to be private, including private entrance into the property. Plenty of parking, and though the outlying neighborhood was a little rundown, the street was really nice and quiet, and easy to get to. The house was clean, stocked with what you need, and dog-friendly. Nice outdoor space for hanging out, and good communication with the owners. We would definitely stay there again.

We have had better and cleaner experiences in other stays through VRBO. It was spacious and overall it served its purpose. One of the bed frames where really wobbly and scary to sleep in. Definitely needs a thorough cleaning. Would not consider this property again when staying in Houston. Location was great and owner was very responsive and kept open communication during our stay. Don't expect to use the property for gatherings they will shut you down even on a weekend. We where told to take the gathering inside. So we didnt feel welcomed to use the patio the second night wich was a bummer.

this house was a great size and very clean, there was also plenty of parking. mario was very helpful. the outdoor area was great as well, they had a pool, hammock, pool table and gym area !

Amazing stay and great homeowners!

There entire time were were there, we had help and hospitality from the home owners and couldn't have been happier. I chose the placer because I want too tan my girlfriend on a nice night on the town and then the next day hang out and barbecue while watching the game- lets just say it was an amazing stay! Any questions we had about there property, the homeowner was right there to accommodate and assist us (we even had to as how to get the game on and he walked in and helped us out and was friendly to everyone there). We cooked, played games, and slept with nothing but ease! It was a beautiful property and the entire neighborhood smelly amazing due to all of the food and life of the surrounding area:) 10/10 would recommend and best believe come summertime we will be renting again to enjoy that pool :)

Perfect place for my visiting parents

I rented the location for my parents while they visited. They liked the place and the privacy of the unit. In addition, the unit was well maintained and clean and had everything they needed, with more than enough space inside and outside to spread out for them and the grandchildren. Great, centrally located spot in Houston

We needed a place to stay with our 🐶🐕 for the weekend. We planned on watching both a Texans and an Astros game and found this great spot very close to downtown near the Bellaire area of Houston. 15 min rideshare trip from downtown and NRG stadium. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood.

Great hidden getaway

While the layout isn’t like a traditional house rental, it’s a lot nicer and secluded. I enjoyed being able to hang out outside despite the rain. The pool was a surprise. It was much nicer to be able to play games late into the night and belch out musicals and off tune 90s band music. My dog enjoyed her time too!

Private clean spacious

We absolutely loved this place! Very clean and private. The hosts are amazing and so friendly. Large spacious rental with open concept and fenced in yard with out door amenities like pool table hammock grill punching bags darts and more! Perfect for any occasion. Partys, reunions, get togethers weekend getaways, vacations, and pet friendly! We will be staying here every time we come to houston. Couldnt have asked for a better spot. They even brought us over some cooking stuff we needed that we didnt have. Great price great place great people great location.
