Ocean One er en blokkering fra Coligny Beach Market, et sjarmerende sentrumsområde som tilbyr gjester et bredt utvalg av restauranter, shoppingsteder og underholdning for alle aldre, blant fasilitetene som tilbys over hele Hilton Head Island. This place is great despite some of the negative reviews. My family and I have been coming to HHI for 6 years and stayed in various locations including another unit in Ocean One and unit 311 is just as nice as any of them. Checkin and checkout process was easy and the property manager had great communication. The views are amazing! Will be staying here again.

Sorority Get Away

Although we loved having three bedrooms and three bathrooms for 5 people, the amenities need to be updated. The coffee table is grimy with dirt, the carpet is frayed, cabinets are damaged and book shelf falling. It is a great spot just needs some improvements. We were satisfied with the location and loved the tiki bar next door! Great location to Coligny shopping area. Pool was awesome and warm!

Comfortable, but not as advertized

After booking, we found out there would be potential that our balcony would be blocked due to exterior work on building. While that did not happen, exterior work did impact our stay due to noise, equipment, etc. Also found out after the fact the pool would be out of service. There was no furniture on balcony as advertized, living room carpet, furniture was heavily stained, not enough silverware, etc. to classify as “fully stocked kitchen”. Owner did discount our stay due to impact of exterior work

Unit was so shabby! We were so disappointed!!

unit was so shabby! Awful furniture, dirty carpet, woodwork coming off walls, taped shower faucet, broken ice maker, bathroom faucet drips, tubs drained slowly, bottom of bathroom door falling apart, dirty dresser drawers, furniture was so old and uncomfortable, kitchen unequipped. Unit not ready at 4. No towels, we had to call.

The property is in desperate need of attention!

The bedroom had a black spotted stain over the ceiling and vents. The bedroom lamp shades were stained 3/4 way up. The walls were covered in numerous areas with scuff marks and stains. The bathroom shower had a large crack and wet mark stain on the ceiling. The bedroom carpets were stained and snagged. Two bathrooms had broken toilet paper holders and one with a broken towel rack. An outlet in a bedroom had no cover on it. The bedroom drapes did not fit the window and had what appeared to be a blood stain on them. The entry door had a large rusted area and the closet door wouldn’t shut. There were left over pop cans underneath the bed. There was hair in all of the bathrooms. Finally, the was sometime type of water issue in the master bedroom that would make a banging sound around 4am every night !!!!

Oceanfront condo

We found this property thru VRBO but rented it from Seashore Vacation Rentals. Seashore was easy to work with and accommodating overall. We stayed in Ocean one during the pandemic in another unit….which was beautiful. The most positive thing I can say about the condo was that it was clean! I read the reviews before booking last year and really thought it would be nice…however, I read the Latest reviews and they were more accurate. This unit needs a total overhaul. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. Wall sockets in bedrooms were not covered and some of the air vents were not attached. We just slid the air vents back in the wall. With some new paint, carpet and decent furniture this place could be a true gem. When going on a vacation now with my parents in their 80’s I want accommodations a bit more comfortable…it would have been ok for teenagers. This unit needs work! But, it was clean and Seashore vacations were helpful. We will come back to Ocean One…

Beautiful View!

The checkin process with Seashore Vacations was wonderful! They were great to work with and the checkout process was easy. The view from the condo was fantastic- dead center ocean view. The condo is very convenient to shops and restaurants. My main complaint is the condition of the carpets. They were very old and worn and I did not feel comfortable walking on them without shoes. When we first arrived there were pieces of food crumbs stuck in the living room carpet where the couch sits. The beds were pretty comfortable and the unit was reasonably clean aside from the living room carpet. The washer and dryer are old. The dryer has a broken piece on the inside near the lent trap that clothes would get snagged on. Two pieces of our clothing got damaged from the dryer. Otherwise, the unit has tons of potential, just in need of some TLC. Overall it was a very pleasant stay but probably wouldn't stay at this particular unit again until some updates are made. Thank you to Seashore Vacations for doing an excellent job.

I do not recommend this place until they make some improvements inside the condo. Ditto on everything Linda P reviews from 12/29/2020. Great view of the ocean but needs a major facelift.

View of out better than inside

This condo met the criteria for which I booked it. Three bedrooms and baths for plenty of individual space, great location to food and shops, within our budget, available just a week out for our last minute plans, and an AMAZING view of the ocean from the living room. However with this being our fifth annual Christmas beach trip, we compared the condition and decor of the inside to the other places we have stayed and it was greatly lacking. As my mom said most of the furniture should be in a thrift store. The walls desperately need painted, the carpet replaced, and the furniture replaced, even with better thrift store furniture. My house is thrift, yard sale and hand me down furnished. Even with such means it can be better than what we found. The two chairs in the living room have cushions that are so saggy, really I wouldn't sit in them. The couch wasn't uncomfortable but we wouldn't sit on it without towels or blankets draped across because looked dirty. The bedrooms reminded me of Motel 6 from my childhood. So needless to say the initial entry was very disappointing. However as we settled in, it didn't seem to be important. The view was great and I wasn't worried about damaging furniture or decor. And we really did like the configuration of the kitchen. It worked really well for us. There is this great open shelf for all our snacks! My assessment is twofold. If you are coming during a time in which you plan to only use the condo for sleeping and eating, it is just fine. If you are spending most of your time inside because it is 40 degrees outside, it isn't a pleasant, attractive environment to spend your day. Positives, the rental company was great and helpful. Even called Christmas day in response to my voice message. The location was great and the view spectacular. All in all, great vacation but I would not choose to stay in 311 unless I knew it had been revamped first.

Beach trip, Covid style

We wanted a beach trip that still allowed for social distancing. We loved the resort and appreciated the friendly staff. We ate several meals in, and the kitchen was more than adequate. When we first arrived, the kitchen and carpets were still a little dirty, but we were able to fix that. The condo is needing some updating, but overall we had a great time and will definitely plan on returning for future vacations. Thank you for letting us enjoy your space for the week!

Excellent location

Property was maintained very well. The pool, pool deck & grills were cleaned every day. Our unit was centrally located with a great view of the pool & ocean. Our unit looked nicer online than in person. Furniture seemed a bit old, some permanent stains on floor, floor molding peeling away, scratches on doors, front closet door stuck on track. For the weekly rental cost, it could definitely use some updating in all the rooms. All appliances worked & kitchen was stocked adequately. We would definitely stay at Ocean One again, but would select a different unit.

Restful

We had a good time. Traffic was bad and very crowded. We normally go to beach in April or May when it's less congested. We realize due to Covid that it would be this way. In future we will stick to April and May. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Lovely stay at Ocean One

Ocean One is a very well maintained property. The staff was friendly and the facility was very well kept. The condo was very spacious and accommodated 7 adults easily. The only comment would be that the living area had only seating for 5 and the outdoor deck furniture was very weathered; however the kitchen and bath areas were updated and very clean. Overall we had a lovely time, enjoyed the beautiful ocean front views and would definitely rent here again.

Short holiday trip

The location of this property was excellent! We enjoyed being right on the beach and within walking distance to Coligny Plaza. Check in process went well. We did not have to call the office manager for anything. The property could use a little updating, but everything was in pretty good shape. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Great place to stay! Recommend!

You can’t beat this place for location. It’s right on the beach, with a nicely manicured property and beautiful pool. The unit is high enough for a great view, with a terrific balcony. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and there is a washer/dryer in the unit. It’s quite spacious with a big table for eating or gaming. The property managers are very responsive. You can walk to stores and great restaurants and there’s plenty of parking. It is a little old and battered but this does not detract. We recommend you bring plenty of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent from home so you don’t have to buy new when you get there.
