Welcome to Sunny Daze! Just minutes from the beautiful beach and the canal, this 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home in Sea Isle will warm your soul and melt your stress away.





Hang out on your enormous private deck and lounge around on the comfortable laid back chairs. It`s a great place to sip your morning coffee or favorite cocktail and listen to the ocean waves. The deck faces west, making it a lovely spot to watch the sunset over the canal.





This home also has a deck connected to the master bedroom with its own set of stairs and peek-a-boo ocean views!





The spacious, open concept living room and dining area is cozily decorated with soft neutrals and calming blue tones, with coastal décor to get you in vacation mode. Relax on the sectional sofa and catch a movie or game on the large TV, equipped with cable and all your favorite streaming services.





A highlight of this home is the amazing mini bar, located inside the large cabinet in the dining room. It`s stocked with wine glasses, champagne flutes, an ice bucket, shot glasses, and a shaker, plus a little cabinet to store your spirits in.





The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals: refrigerator, microwave, stovetop and oven, coffeemaker, crockpot, utensils, and a great amount of counter space.





The dining table is set for four, but there`s also room and stools to sit at the kitchen bar top.





When it`s time to get cleaned up, you`ll have plenty of space in the beautifully finished bathroom, complete with walk-in shower and lots of storage. There`s also a half bath located off of the kitchen.





After an awesome day of fun in the sun, you`ll get a great night`s sleep at Sunny Daze. The master bedroom has a big cozy king bed and the second bedroom has a queen. Both bedrooms have TVs with streaming services. The sofa is also surprisingly comfortable. Sweet dreams!



In the Area:



Sunny Daze is located in Sea Isle, a beautiful community towards the West End of Galveston. Community amenities include a pool and hot tub, tennis courts, a park, fishing pier and private boardwalk path to the beach. These are available to you upon request for an additional amenities fee.

We loved this house! The decor is so cute and homey. The location worked perfectly… not too close or too far from the city action. I was needing a walk through with the lock on the front door, called and got an immediate help. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House and Area

This was our first time staying in the Sea Isle neighborhood. It was perfect for us, as we were looking for a quiet weekend at the coast. If you want more dining/shopping/entertainment options, you'll have to drive about 15 minutes. The front balcony is nice and big and has what I would call an ocean glimpse. If you look between two houses and have pretty good vision, you can see it in the distance. But, you can hear the waves. The beach is about a 5 minute walk if that, but I would definitely plan to take a cart if you have a bunch of stuff, like chairs and coolers. We had an elderly dog with us who has trouble walking long distances, so we drove to the lot across the street which had plenty of parking while we were there on Easter weekend. We planned to cook some at the house, but the first night we ate at the restaurant within the West End Marina and liked it so much we went back the other two days. Right on the water and dog friendly. The house itself was very spacious and comfy and the master bed was super soft. Highly recommend this property.

Oldie but goodie

This property is fine and clean, but everything feels a bit old and tired, I’m glad I didn’t try to cook a big meal, the kitchen was especially old ( appliances, counters) The bathroom is large, yet has little places to put your things and again is old. The deck was lovely. You have to go a circuitous route to get to the beach, but it was not crowded and we enjoyed the neighborhood. It is worth noting that there is no real grocery store nearby, so grab supplies before you leave the main entry point on the island, the supermarket nearby is an overpriced convenience store. The doors of the unit are hollow, so there is no sound privacy, which is a bit of a bummer.

Best Family Getaway!

The location was very private and safe for family and children. It’s not right in the busy part you have to drive about 20 mins, but it’s perfect to be in a more private area. Galveston was 20 mins and had lots of family activities and my girls loved the Peir and rides over the waterfront. We will definitely be back and this put Texas on the map for us.

Adorable property across the street from the beach. You can enjoy the sounds of the waves from the deck. Comfortable beds and couch. Spacious kitchen and family area. Everything was very clean. Would definitely rent again!

Cute little house!

We had a great stay in Sea Isle! This house is the perfect size for a family of 4. The house is very clean, cute and comfy! Keep in mind there is one full bath, located in the master. It’s the perfect short drive from the beach. My kids loved the 2 swings downstairs! The living room couch is super comfy! The only issue we had was clogged shower/bathroom sink drains first shower. But we communicated with management, and they came out to fix it while fast (within a couple hours) while were down at the beach. We had friends stay at a house a couple streets over, and we could walk to their house. That was a fun bonus! The Marina restaurant is also located a very short few streets away. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

Absolutely perfect views/location/property

I am so blown away how amazing my stay was here. For one: the location !!!!! you really can’t beat it. this property gives you access to a pool that overlooks the bay, has restaurants within walking distance, that overlook the bay !!! SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. You also have private beach access within walking distance. A tennis court. I was so happy here. You can even fish straight from the pier. My stay here was so perfect, I cannot recommend this home and neighborhood enough. I never even knew Sea-isle existed and I’ve been to Galveston my whole life!!! I genuinely loved everything !!!! the house was beautiful :) sooo nice! THE BEDS WERE SOOOO COMFY TOO! And the house was perfectly clean, nicely decorated, and the house had everything we could need it was fully prepared it was so professionally done almost like staying in a hotel. Everything was so great I couldn’t ask for a better stay and I’m so thankful that I found this property I will definitely be coming back. This neighborhood you genuinely cannot beat it it has everything it’s perfect for families and if you just want to get a rest away from all the tourists who are on the seawall this is the spot for you and your loved ones

Summer daze is what you would expect for the money.

Here are a few issues that need addressing…… nailheads sticking up on the upper deck are definitely a safety concern. The master bed mattress needs replacing. This is an older property but the rental price reflects it.

Great location, stinky fridge!

This rental was close to the beach! Before checking in we grabbed some groceries, when we opened the fridge the smell almost made me lose my lunch. We kept fruit in our cooler…smelled like dead fish or rotten chicken. Be careful in the deck, tops of rusted nails cover it and you will catch your toes/feet on it-wear shoes! The master bed has you meeting in the middle if two are sleeping there. The a/c was great and loved the little side yard! I have never left a review like this, but sadly, if upgrades and repairs aren’t made this year we would not rent this particular home again in the future.

Perfect spot away from chaos

Great vacay home! Perfect location away from crazy crowds and noise. Pool was awesome, fun bars near property too. Great public beach access across the street from property and perfect for dog walking as well!!

Great Location/ Sea Isle neighborhood

The house was very clean, easy to find, and check-in was simple. The second bedroom is listed as a queen bed... it's a double. The 5-minute walk to the beach is more like a 5 minute drive to park at the beach access point. The listing does not specify whether linens are provided. Happy to report they are provided. The sliding shower door needs to be replaced and one of the shower heads leaks and drips down the drywall. The house was great, but would have appreciated more transparency in the VRBO listing. Over all, it was easy to stay at Happy Daze and the drive to the beach was easy. Please update the listing to give better details on what you're paying for.

Nice location and perfect size

It was just my son and me, was very cozy without feeling like we didn’t have room. Big master, big restroom. The only thing is I burnt everything I cooked in the oven, needs a major adjustment!! Whatever temp you need to cook at, drop it by 150degrees.
