Enjoy our cozy house located in a quiet, but convenient location.

Our house includes a full kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry room, and a variety of sleeping arrangements. On the main level, there is one bedroom with a queen bed. There is an open room with a twin day bed. There is also a pull out mattress in the living room. Head upstairs to our unique loft for a queen bed, full bed, and a bean bag that converts into a bed for children.

We do have a beautiful fenced in front yard and an outdoor seating area.

If you need additional room for guests, please check out our other vrbo listing, as we do have a studio apartment also on the property, above the detached garage.

We do have horses on the property but we kindly ask that you look and not touch!

This was the worst place ever!!! It was overgrown trees and bushes, very narrow drive behind the house between and very large tree and a metal building and seemed very unsafe. Once inside the dishes were dirty, old and stained. There were multiple places with spiders including the bath tub. The backdoor screendoor was broken and. The wood was dangling. It smelled musty and I didnt check in until after 5 which was too late for me to leave that night or I would have left immediately!!! The fireplace was in disarray with open parts to the bottom of it and small animals could have crawled in!! If I could have rated this a zero I would have done it. Some of the light fixtures were falling down. Avoid this place.

We loved staying here. And we will stay again. We ran out of trash bags and while we were out the owner came and dropped some off. We came for red rocks and this place was a nice relaxing place to rest our heads. Thank you!

Very relaxing

We loved staying at this property. It was a great location and peaceful. Loved seeing the horses and the walking trail along the canal that was close by. The whole family loved staying here. There were 8 of us and we all slept comfortably.

We wanted to rate this stay higher, but a few issues made it less comfortable than expected. Upon arrival, there was a strong musty odor, likely mold, with very little airflow, as most windows are sealed shut. Opening doors or few windows helps, but also invites large horseflies.The home didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned. We found cobwebs, a box of half-eaten Cheez-Its under a bed, trash behind a dresser, and several non-working lamps. As a mom of five who cooks daily, the kitchen setup was frustrating. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, the grill needed a full scrub before use, and the oven emitted smoke every time I opened it. Most of the pans were heavily scratched or burnt, making breakfast difficult and often set off the smoke alarm and wasted food stuck to the pans. (Nate-Hexclad pans are indestructible and worth the investment) Guests are asked to strip beds and start laundry, which was surprising and suggests minimal turnover cleaning.Finally, the attic rooms were quite warm, even in early June, and the A/C struggled to cool the house. I imagine it gets very uncomfortable in peak summer.There were positives, we appreciated the quiet space and layout, but overall… this stay didn’t quite meet our expectations. With a property manager, most of these issues could easily be eliminated.

Spacious and peaceful--yet close to lots!

I loved the spaciousness of Nate's place. He was terrific. I chose this place in part because I knew I'd be cooking. Nate helped make sure that I had all the supplies I needed--he really went the extra mile. The cupboards had seasonings, condiments, and coffee/tea. There were soaps (dish, laundry, and shampoo). I never needed the dishwasher, though the washer/dryer were handy.Each morning, I treated myself to walks along the canal (Not a cement-lined channel). Despite the "No trespassing" signs, I asked and no one minded. Going south, you can see the peaks of the Rockies, and I think I saw a muskrat. On the N. side, I saw snowy egrets, kingfishers, among other birds. Each day, I also saw wood ducks.A large grocery store is a short distance away--incl. pharmacy, prepared meals, etc. Gas is nearby, too. This is a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Home was not cleaned well upon arrival. That was the only complaint really. Other than that it was a decent place to stay depending on your expectations. We were booking more last minute with minimal options. Would not be likely to book again if returning to the area. They do have a large area for parking and the home is kind of hidden so felt secure and safe.

Horses, horses, horses

If you love horses you will love this place. It’s like living on a ranch so not the cleanest place. Make sure your food is kept in the refrigerator as we also encountered mice. If you are using the upstairs beds, it’s very hot and takes a while to cool down.

Great house for the family in NW Arvada/Denver

Had a great week long stay at the house. Was a great location for getting out of the city and into the mountains. House is located in slightly rural setting with stables and horses close by. Owners were very receptive and great on communications. Had a great trip and will look at using the house again on our next trip!!

Farm house in the country. Host worked with us in the issues we had. And we had fun on the trip.

We are overall had a good time. The house seemed clean upon arrival however pests and weird noises occurred during the stay. The host did listen to our concerns and made some changes and small refund after our stay. We appreciate the location next to the farm! We thought the beanbag chair, other furniture and decor made it homey and quaint. We really like it's rural feel and the canal walk in the back. Our concerns came down to some weird plumbing noises, and pests. - the plumbing made a weird gurgling noise at odd intervals making it hard to sleep - we spotted mouse droppings and a live mouse, had spider babies on the sheets, a cricket in the bed and flies and moths. The flies and moths were expected as it is close to a farm. However the other critters were unwelcome guests. The other thing to know is the AC is run by a mini split downstairs and a wall unit upstairs. These units do not necessarily cool the entire space efficiently, however there are fans to help with the airflow. The upstairs does get very warm during the day. But we were out enjoying CO most of the day so not a huge deal. The location was nice and the home felt cozy but pest issues and weird sounds made for a stay that wasn't the best. The host did assure me that they would take care of the issues (a recent review confirms they did) and the host also gave me a small refund for our trouble.

Softball Nationals 2924

It was nice and everything that could be needed was provided. It had the country vibe we hoped it would be. We all love horses so having them nextdoor was cool even though we weren't able to pet them when they came to the fence to check things out. The upstairs got really hot through the day so the kids couldn't go up there through the day but cooled down nicely in the evening. Only thing I didn't like was going in and out of the driveway between the trees and the shed but it was worth it for all the privacy. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Centrally located to where we needed to be and we would stay there again!! TI didn't like was between the upstairbuilding

Dirty and had rodents

The host was a good communicator; however, the house and the yard were in very poor condition. The cushions on the outside chairs were torn, filthy and moldy. The house had a funny smell and when we returned from a concert out second night, two large rodents scurried across the living room floor. We grabbed our belongings and left immediately. The host refunded our money for part of our stay. This was my first experience with VRBO and I doubt I'll ever use it again.
