Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

The driveway and parking area is plowed in winter, but a four-wheel drive is recommended to explore the area.

Getting Around:
Bringing or renting a car is highly recommended to explore the many nearby towns and scenic routes without limitations. While Ubers/Lyfts are available, service may be limited. Keep in mind limited attraction parking, and traffic congestion during Summer and weekends.

Flying in: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS): For international and wider domestic flight options, Boston Logan is the major airport serving the region. It’s about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive to Dennis Port, depending on traffic. Cape Cod Gateway Airport (HYA) is also an option, Located close-by in Hyannis, this is the closest airport offering regional flights, including connections to Boston and New York. It’s convenient for quick access to Dennis Port and is about a 20-minute drive away.

Local Transportation: The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority offers the Flex bus service, which can be a convenient option for traveling between towns if you're not in a hurry. Dennis Port is also a very bike-friendly town with access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a scenic bike path that runs through several Cape Cod towns.

Ferries: If you are looking to visit the islands of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, ferries are the easiest option. Port Hyannis, a short drive away, as well as Falmouth, both have routine ferry service to these islands with passenger-only and car ferries. Book tickets in advance, especially in Summer months.

- All guests staying at a Portoro Homes are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.
- No Parties or Events. - Quiet Hours observed, 10:00pm - 8:00am.
- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Portoro Homes directly.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts, fee typically applies. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- Some homes have pools and hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features. - Use at your own risk.
- The house is regularly treated for pests but being that we are in the country, it would not be unusual to have an insect or mouse make an appearance inside.
- In the State of Massachusetts, and in Barnstable County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction.
- This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.
- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

Interaction with Guests:
Our goal is that your vacation exceed your expectations. Portoro Homes communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 14 days (or less) prior to arrival date. We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check in. We do typically check in with guests by text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions. We are available to guests 24/7 for any inquiries.
