Quietly nestled on a sunny hillside close to the pretty lakeside town of Como, this elegant, air-conditioned apartment comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.

Arranged across the first floor of a modern three-story building, the property enjoys an extensive private balcony terrace with space for alfresco dining and a small garden. Inside, the bright and airy interior has been styled with a carefully chosen blend of vintage and contemporary furnishings.

The open-plan living space benefits from large French doors and picture windows that look out to the incredible views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This space incorporates a small kitchen and is furnished with a double sofa bed, a Smart flatscreen Digital TV and a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a Lavazza a Modo Mio coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher.

The property is nestled close to the picturesque town of Como, with its cobbled streets, grand villas, and lakeside promenades. With its blend of historic charm and effortless Italian style, the town also provides the perfect base for water lovers. Visitors can take a ferry, hire a boat, kayak or paddleboard to explore the surrounding waters, or simply unwind at one of the beaches or Lido’s (Lido Villa Olma is a 10-minute walk).

Hikers will enjoy scenic trails, including the Cardina hiking area (a 20-minute walk) and Como’s Lakefront Promenade. Stretching from Villa Olma (a 10-minute walk), this follows a gorgeous trail lined with trees, benches, and views of the water and mountains. Visitors can take this all the way to Como’s Piazza Cavour and enjoy an aperitivo by the water.

Cultural highlights include a visit to the Duomo di Como, the town’s Gothic/Renaissance cathedral (an 11-minute drive / 15 minutes by bus) or a trip along the lake to Villa Carlotta (a 40-minute drive), with its art-filled interiors and botanical gardens.

The closest restaurants are approximately an 8-10-minute walk away, and there is a supermarket a 2-minute drive / 12-minute walk away. For the best local produce, guests can head to the market on Via Mentana 5 (open Tuesday/Thursday mornings and all day Saturday). This is a great place to browse regional specialities, including fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats, lake fish and local artisan breads.

The closest airport to the accommodation is Milan Malpensa (MXP), approximately 50 minutes away by car, while intercity public transport options are within walking distance for easy exploration.
