Located on the second floor of a brand-new building, this one-bedroom apartment welcomes you into an elegant open-plan living room, decorated in white and pastel tones for a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable sofa is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day while watching a movie or reading a book, and doubles as a sofa bed for the night (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we think it's only fair that you can use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). The kitchen open to the living room is modern and functional, and has everything you need to prepare meals as you would at home.

The master bedroom offers a comfortable retreat after a day spent exploring the city and surrounding Lake Como area.

The bathroom with modern shower features an original design, with a wall decorated with floral motifs.

Completing the apartment is the spacious balcony with glass parapet, an ideal corner to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or sip an aperitif at sunset.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

Staying in the Lario Suite apartments you are minutes away from Villa Olmo and its park, and walking along the picturesque promenade you will reach the hangar (where seaplanes depart), ill Tempio Voltiano and the War Memorial. Walk along the breakwater, reaching the modern artwork “The Life Electric” by the famous Libeskind! Continue along the lakefront to reach Viale Geno, its park and villa. At the beginning of Viale Geno is the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break at one of the mountain huts you'll encounter along the way. A 30-minute walk or a few minutes by bus (bus stop below the apartment) will put you in the center of Como and you can stroll through its cobblestone streets, stores, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. You'll admire the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvelous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth visiting; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque-style basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, among the most renowned streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; and Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city.

Also in a few minutes you arrive in Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).



How to get there:

By car: From the A9 motorway take the ‘Como - Monte Olimpino’ exit at the first roundabout take the first exit and continue on ‘Via Bellinzona’. At the second roundabout take the second exit. In 4 minutes you will be in front of the flat, which is on the left hand side.

By public transport: When you arrive at the ‘Como San Giovanni Station’ go to the stop ‘Como - S. Ronchetto’ and take the bus N.1 direction ‘Como-Recchi’ for 7 stops and get off at the stop ‘Como- Roncate (Villa Aprica)’. there you will find yourself in front of the flat. Or you can walk to the ‘Como Lago Station’, walk to the stop ‘Stazione Lago’ and take the bus N.7 direction ‘Como- lungolario trento’, get off after 10 stops at the stop ‘Como - Ceresio (Bixio)’. From there in 5 minutes walk you will be in front of the flat.
