Get ready to be wowed by this Charleston-inspired home. Over 3000 sq ft .You can expect all the modern amenities. Huge kitchen island plus dining table for 10. We have added a crib, MamaRoo and activity walker. Enjoy beautiful views of the lake from the huge rocking chair front porch. Lake access is just across the street with, kayaks, paddle board, outdoor blackstone griddle, electronic darts, fire pit, corn hole and lake floats provided for your entertainment. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom! No waiting your turn. We also decorate for the holidays if you are looking for a great home for you and your family to gather. Under 40 minutes from the airport, BoA Stadium, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Spectrum Center.

From our initial communications with Tammy, the host, through the end of our stay, it was perfection personified. We were in the Charlotte area for several days of business meetings, and the accommodations were fantastic, the amenities were incredible, and the overall experience left everyone refreshed and looking forward to another visit on a return trip.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property this year!! It is the perfect spot for family and friends! The neighborhood is quiet but conveniently located near several grocery stores and the farmer’s market. Tammy added a playroom since we last stayed…we can’t wait to come back with our grandson again so he can enjoy it! By far the BEST VRBO property we’ve stayed at…all the bedrooms are well-appointed and have their own en-suite bathrooms, the kitchen is HUGE and has everything you need to cook-in if that’s what you prefer, and the front porch has the most beautiful lakeviews! It’s also immaculate! Don’t hesitate! Book it!

The house is amazing, exactly as advertised. Plenty of space for 4 couples. Grill out back was great, lake access is a 50 yard walk across the street. The house has all the things (chairs, shade tent, paddleboard, etc) needed to have an awesome time by the lake. Owner was responsive and flexible when we asked to stay another night because we were having a great time.

Beautiful, well-appointed home, book it!

This home is as beautiful as the pictures show on the listing! It was perfectly sized for our family with five adults and one ten-month old. We have utilized VRBO a fair amount, and this property did not disappoint. It’s obvious Tammy, the owner, cares about the home and her guests. The kitchen was HUGE, clean and has everything you would need to cook your meals in regard to dishes/appliances. Even a little play sink for my grandson to play with while the adults were cooking. The back patio has a blackstone grill which was fantastic…but honestly we never even got to the darts, firepit, cornhole or kayaks! The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful, roomy and had plenty of storage. We were grateful for the beach towels as we were out on our boat everyday and saved us from packing such a bulky item. She was also so thoughtful to have towels reserved for dirty dog paws on the front porch and back patio…although we don’t have a dog, I appreciated the thoughtfulness! If you’re traveling with a baby, just pack clothes! Tammy has EVERYTHING else from toys to a pack-n-play AND crib (sheets for both), high chair, booster seat, potty, baby/toddler dishes (I’m sure I’m forgetting something). We also LOVED sitting out in the rockers at night looking out at the lake! This house is conveniently located to two marinas and the grocery stores are a short five minute drive. We were all sad to leave after a beautiful week!

My family and friends were here for our 40th Davidson college class reunion. This is the most beautiful home I’ve ever rented. But more than that, it’s the most thoughtfully supplied. Usually there’s something missing—not here. Our host was amazing: thoughtful, helpful and oh so responsive. I truly have only applause and gratitude for this experience.

Beautiful appointed home!

We had a family wedding in the area & this beautiful home was perfect for three couples. We had plenty of gathering space, from the front porch to the back covered space, to the gourmet kitchen, it was perfect for cooking. Details in coffee, tea, spices and other essentials were thoughtfully appointed. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets, towels, linens, etc..Communication with the host was spot on. We would highly recommend this home & look forward to returning.

Absolutely Perfect Lake Getaway!

Our stay at Lake Norman was perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked the home was. Every detail felt curated to ensure a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable experience.The house was beautifully decorated, with fun Easter touches that added to the festive, welcoming vibe. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and unwind. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more!), and the living areas were ideal for games, movies, and simply relaxing together.The outdoor space was incredible—from the lazy porch swing in the front to the fenced-in yard, cozy fire pit, and covered back patio (complete with a TV!). The home was packed with everything you could need for lakeside fun, including kayaks, life jackets, and even kayak trolleys to make the short walk across the street to the lake effortless and enjoyable.One of the sweetest surprises? The hosts left special birthday cookies for our mom, which completely made her day and set such a thoughtful tone for the weekend. It was a small gesture that meant so much to all of us.The hosts were phenomenal—super responsive, welcoming, and clearly committed to providing a five-star experience. Check-in was seamless, and everything was exactly as described (if not better!).If you're considering a stay at Lake Norman—this is the place. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Wedding Weekend

The groom and his family (I'm his mom) stayed in this house as we gathered for his wedding. Absolutely beautiful house with nice spaces for gathering to eat, chat, and be entertained. (fabulous kitchen and big screen in living room) Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, which was perfect for all our event readying. Extra special touches were the spring/Easter decorations which made us feel right at home. Reason for 4 stars on online listing accuracy was incorrect checkout time which property manager made us aware of, so it all worked out. You may also be a bit closer to your "neighbors" than you think, but did not matter at all. We weren't disturbed nor were they, and we loved the front porch view!

Family Gathering

This home is beautiful and very well decorated . Tammy the host decorated for Thanksgiving and our family felt right at home . She even gave us a home made bread which was yummy as a present. The kitchen is well stocked , the smart refrigerator was great and I played some music one night . The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious clean and comfy. The property overlooks lake Norman . We will be back for sure and I highly recommend this property

Beautiful lake home

The house is freshly renovated with every amenity you coyld want. The owner, Tammy, decorated it perfectly for halloween, which the kids loved. She was also very responsive throughout the stay to answer any questions. We will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

Amazing lake house

The property was absolutely amazing for our family trip. The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need from blankets for your dogs, cribs and games for children, and everything in between!! The lake access is just across the street and the part of lake is quiet and and so fun! Would absolutely recommend.

Perfect House

This house was the perfect setting for our annual girl's weekend. It was impeccably clean and so well appointed with all the extras. The kitchen was huge and made cooking our meals so easy. Each of the four bedrooms have a full bathroom so no one got the short end of the stick. The house was comfortable, modern and exceeded all of our expectations. Tammy was the best host and we enjoyed our time so much!

Perfect Vacation!!

From the moment we contacted about this home we were impressed!!! Tammy was a great communicator and answered all of our questions immediately! She suggested ideas of places to go, eat, boat rentals, etc! The house was Amazing!!! Our favorite was the front porch overlooking the lake. The beds were all extremely comfy! So many games, toys, tubes, kayaks, and paddle board! There is so much to do!! Cooking was so easy with her state of the art kitchen and all the utensils you could imagine! It was a perfect vacation!! Tammy is the beat hostess ever! Warm sourdough bread to welcome us! Don't look any further this is your house!

Perfection on Lake Norman

This was our homebase leading up to my daughter's wedding in Charlotte. The house, the location, and the host were absolutely perfect! We were so comfortable and were close enough to Charlotte to handle wedding details but far enough away to relax and enjoy family time. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. There are games and puzzles, an electronic dart board, a wonderful porch swing, kayaks, and the kitchen is to die for! Tammy was so wonderful and made us feel so welcome. She even left us a loaf of home made bread. Amazing!

Beautiful lake home

Roomy, clean, well-appointed, and right across the street from Lake Norman. Easy 20 minute drive to downtown Davidson. Host communicated everything well and even provided a large loaf of homemade sourdough bread! Really enjoyed our stay.
