Let's start with the positives:Super cute animals that you can interact with. You will be staying in an A-frame on the farm, with no separation between you and the animals. It was fun to watch the baby goats play and to listen to the sounds of the peacocks and emus as the sun rose. The bed is comfortable and the A-frame is quite charming. The property is fun to explore. Now for the cons:We were asked to arrive at a specific time for the host to meet us and give us a property tour. The address on VRBO is incorrect; we knocked on a random woman's house who had no idea who we were or where the cabin was. We had to drive back into town and find the farm's website, which included the actual address, as we had no cell signal near the property. The host was going to meet us at the property, but was at an event and ended up talking to us through one of his security cameras. He was kind and gave us instructions on how to access the farm.We had to pay an extra 20 to use an ATV to get up to the farm, which was disclosed after booking. Most people looking at this sort of thing might have an ATV in tow, but that expectation was not clear to us when we booked.Once on the property, we found that all gas canisters for the space heater and the BBQ grill were empty. The temps dropped into the 30s and we really had to snuggle to stay warm overnight without heat.Various amenities that are listed were either absent or unclear without in-person instruction, which was not given.
