Newly refurbished apartment in a well-kept building two blocks from the magnificent sandy beach and boardwalk featuring many restaurants and bars. Fully equipped, family friendly, minutes to lively city centre (which is open all year round) and marina. The apartment fits up to 6 people, who will enjoy the open space dining kitchen area, 2 balconies, outdoor dining, main bedroom (with either twin or double bed), 1 double bedroom, living room with a double sofa bed and ensuite shower room. Fully fitted kitchen includes integrated washing machine and dishwasher, also coffee machine and microwave oven. Fast Wi-Fi and smart TV are available, as well as air conditioning/ heating equipment. Free parking can be found on local streets all year round. Guest access is via communal stair from rear garden, otherwise fully private indoor areas and balconies.

Other than the main beach, countless coves can be found to both north and south of it, offering phenomenal setting, shade and even privacy for those who can venture further along the Ronda (old coastguard route connecting the beaches and towns in this part of Costa Brava).

Platja d'Aro has dozens of excellent restaurants, majority of which are open throughout the year, which also goes for numerous shops located on the main street and the centre. Girona, the main city of this region, is a beautiful medieval town with a number of fantastic churches, bridges and picturesque streets (several scenes from Game of Thrones series were filmed there). It is only about 30min by car from the apartment, but there are lots of other smaller medieval jewels dotted across this area within the same distance, such as Pals, Begur and Peratallada, to name but a few.

With both golf and tennis clubs nearby, cycling routes and numerous festivals/ major processions organised across the calendar, Platja is a unique destination that opens its doors to visitors throughout the year.

Things to note:
Families are preferred as this is a quiet residential community - the building has strict noise rules that need to be respected. Two guests need to be aged 25 or over to complete the booking, which will be verified before it is confirmed. The flat is equipped with monitor that measures noise levels and number of persons in the flat at any time.
