The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, and sink for quick meals, snacks, and drinks. The bathroom features a mounted bowl sink and glass walk-in shower. Large windows flood the space with natural light, and the private outdoor patio offers a spot for morning coffee or evening wine. ☀️ In summer, you're steps from Carmel Beach for swimming and beachcombing. ❄️ In winter, the cozy indoor space and nearby Carmel River State Beach trails offer peaceful retreats. Guest Access:

You'll have your own private entrance to the studio and one dedicated parking space. The walkway from the parking area to the studio is shared with the main house and one other studio unit on the property. Check-in details will be provided before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

You're in a quiet residential area just a 5-minute drive to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, where you can walk to dozens of art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants like Casanova Restaurant and La Bicyclette. Carmel Beach is less than a mile away, a 10-minute walk for sunrise strolls on the white sand. Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is a 10-minute drive south, offering some of the most stunning coastal hiking in California with sea lions, otters, and tide pools. The Carmel Mission Basilica, a historic 18th-century landmark, is a 5-minute drive inland. For provisions, Carmel Plaza and Bruno's Market & Deli are both within a mile. The Sunset Center for performing arts is a 7-minute walk from the studio.



Getting Around:

Highway 1 runs directly through Carmel-by-the-Sea and connects you to Monterey (5 miles north, 10 minutes) and Big Sur (30 miles south, 45 minutes). From San Francisco, take US-101 South to Highway 156 West, then merge onto Highway 1 South for a total drive of about 2 hours. From San Jose, take Highway 17 to Highway 1 South, roughly 90 minutes. Monterey Regional Airport is 15 minutes away by car. Downtown Carmel is highly walkable once you arrive.

• This is a detached studio unit behind the main house. There are three separate dwellings on the property: the main house and two studio units. Your rental includes only the back studio.

• The walkway from your parking space to the studio entrance is shared with the other units on the property.

• Quiet hours after 10pm out of respect for neighbors.
