Beautiful!

My family has stayed in several rentals. This property stands above them all. Beautiful house and the farm is spectacular. Amazing views. The drive to Madison is an easy 20 minutes. If you are going to the Madison area I wouldn’t pass on this house.

Our Wisconsin wonderland!

Joe and Rachel were wonderful hosts with the most amazing farmhouse. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and fully stocked with all necessities and more! The farmhouse gave our family an experience we won’t forget bringing all our sons together. I have a new love for Wisconsin! Can’t wait to go back. Thanks again! Cheers, Mina from Florida

Another wonderful stay at the farm house!

This is our fourth stay at the farm house. And again we had a wonderful time. The house is so well appointed (e.g. fully stocked kitchen and pantry, tons of towels, many choice board games, etc). The hosts are super nice and very responsive - we had a couple minor issues (e.g. storm knocked out the wi-if) which they responded to quickly and graciously. We enjoyed the pond and the kayaks, the star gazing, the grill … we can’t wait to come back and stay again!!

Place was very clean and the accommodations were great. House was very nice. The kids loved the beach and hiking in the woods. Only drawback was the pond water, not good for swimming. Overall we had a great time and recommend it to anyone interested in family get away.

Scenic serenity

The property was breathtaking with an adorable beach in which we used the kayaks daily. Every square inch of the home was picture perfect and usable. We loved the games provided and the walking trails. Definitely a dream vacation! We will be back!

Lovely farmhouse vibe, tranquil view of treefarm and kayaking pond

Beautifully updated older farmhouse, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounging furniture, and very appealing front and back porches. A/C worked well, useful in hot/humid mid-summer Wisconsin. But a steady breeze also often kept this ridge top property cool

Lovely, peaceful property

We really enjoyed our stay on the tree farm. It's a beautiful, quiet, very peaceful property. Surrounded by gorgeous trees, and the pond (plus two kayaks in which to paddle it) was a great bonus. Also, the house is really well stocked and well kept up. We hope to stay there again!

This is our third time staying at the farm house - each time is better than the last! The house and property are amazing - a perfect setting for our family to celebrate Christmas! Great family get-away

Beautiful property and lovely, well-appointed farmhouse. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner there for 10 family members -- some local, who stayed just for dinner, some not, who spent a few days at the house with us. The setting and house were perfect for what we needed (with an extra table and chairs brought in for the big meal). Rachel and Joe were so responsive, accommodating, and had really thought of everything. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable, and nice bedding, towels, finishes, games and charming modern farmhouse vibe were all much appreciated by our group. We can't wait to go back again when it's warm enough to enjoy the porches, too!

Peaceful location!

The Farmhouse was the best rental we have stayed in. My family gathered together to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. The venue was 10 mins north of the house so the location was very convenient. The country setting was so peaceful which helped calm any wedding jitters. The house was spacious for four adults and one toddler and was well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the bathrooms. Every detail was thought of. We highly recommend this house for fun and relaxation. We didn’t get to spend time by the pond and use the kayaks. Looks like a return trip will be needed!

Beautiful Property!

We can’t wait to stay again! The house is beautiful and clean and the property is breathtaking. The house is fully stocked for guests and by far the most comfortable VRBO home we have stayed in. Everything in the home is high quality and you can tell the owners put a lot of consideration for guests into their choices. The hosts are very kind and accommodating people and were just a pleasure to meet. The pond/beach area is where we spent a lot of time. The kids had an absolute blast playing in the sand and kayaking. HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place!

This was our second time staying at the farm house. And again we had an amazing time. The house is lovely; the location is idyllic; Rachel (the host) was gracious and accommodating. Farmhouse Perfection

The Farm House is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The home is stocked with all the essentials you might need on vacation plus extras that really make you feel welcome and comfortable. It is such a wonderful place to stay that's only a few minutes out of Madison and the hustle and bustle of town but still close enough you never felt far away from anything. A Dream House

This was our second stay at the Farmhouse and we absolutely loved it. I booked the 2nd vacation in the middle of the 1st vacation and we cannot wait to see the property in the fall. This huge property is beautifully nested among rolling hills and surrounded by a variety of leaf and pine trees and a wonderful pond to enjoy. At night you find yourself totally removed from civilization and can be lulled to sleep by croaking frogs. The house is clean, cozy, nicely furnished and comfortable. You can enjoy two separate decks/ verandas. One overlooking the pond and the other one overlooking the rolling hills and the forest. In the kitchen, you can find any kitchen accessory you can think of like two coffee makers (a traditional one and a Keurig) and a variety of useful kitchen tools, for example a hand mixer and an apple peeler in case at the spur of the moment you decide to bake an apple cake (which happened to us). I wish I could attach a photo of the cake. There is also a pantry stocked with the basics in case you run out of food. There is a variety of books, games, and puzzles in the house for your enjoyment. The stay at the Farmhouse was a total immersion into nature, far away from traffic, noise, busy cities and people. It offered endless relaxation and a variety of options to enjoy the nature and outdoors.

Peaceful and Pleasant

Secluded, well-appointed, spacious, quiet. It was a perfect place for our family to get away, relax, and enjoy visits with family in the area. Walks on trails and occasional seating for pause and reflection were a nice and welcome surprise. The home was well-stocked with basic needs and amenities. Communications and responsiveness with property owners was lovely and as to be expected. We felt attended to and cared for. It was a very comfortable stay for our family of four.

A perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature

The property is beautiful - breathtaking really. The grounds are so natural and picturesque and the Farm House was impeccably put together perfect for our family visit. The attention to detail and high quality was even beyond what we had expected. We so enjoyed the covered front porch and its view of the pond and nothing but trees. Despite being a short trip in to town, it was easy to find and easy to immediately feel comfortable and at home.

Fall retreat

Absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for serenity and relaxation! The property managers are very sweet and responses were prompt. They spare no expense in making sure the house is fully furnished with alot of extras to make you feel at home and welcome you! We will definitely rent this property again!!
