2 BR, 2 BA Condo – Ski-In – Walk To Gondola – Sleeps 8!

How does this sound: Walk across the street to hop on the Gondola and at the end of your ski day, ski right to the complex, store your skis and head to your condo! No matter what season, you’ll have incredible access to hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing trails as well as all the shopping and dining on Main Street Breck. This is a great mountain condo; your family and friend will love it!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo works perfectly for up to eight guests. The living area features a stone gas fireplace, and there’s a large flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Right off the living room is the balcony — perfect for enjoying the fall colors and crisp mountain air. Stainless-steel appliances and large granite counters in the full kitchen provide plenty of space to whip up great mountain meals and après-ski snacks. There’s seating for six at the dining table and four more at the counter.

You’ll enjoy access to the shared hot tub and pool, as well as an onsite gym. You’ll also enjoy full access to the pool, hot tubs, spa and bowling alley at One Ski Hill Place Resort, located at the top of the gondola. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, shuttle service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and are stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. Our helpful staff is also available 24/7 should you need anything.

LOCATION – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St (about 0.3 miles/three blocks). Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day. A complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.

MOUNTAIN THUNDER RESORT AMENITIES – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. It also features a fitness center, complimentary shuttle, conference/business space, common area outdoor pool & hot tub area with gas grills and a children’s play area.

ONE SKI HILL PLACE RESORT AMENITIES – Being a guest of Mountain Thunder Lodge also gives you access to One Ski Hill Place Resort located at the base of Peak 8. Amenities include two pools, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, bowling alley, movie lounges, game room, fitness center, rejuvenation center, restaurants, ski school and a complimentary resort shuttle.

Nice Place, but tight

The unit was nice, but wish the ski lockers were all in building 1, as the walk back and forth could be a little daunting. The shuttle service was great, and made getting to the mountain easy. The second bedroom was CRAMPED!!! It was difficult to move around in the room and we only had 2 staying in it. Need to come up with better sleeping arrangements in that space, as what is there, doesn’t really work. Overall, we had a nice stay and the location was great.

Summer Girls Trip

Visited Breckenridge with a couple of friends. This location was perfect for walking to the Main Street to grab coffee, shop or find a spot to eat. Beautiful clean pool and hot tubs. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Another Fantastic Ski Experience

This is the second time we've stayed in this unit and it certainly did not disappoint! The unit itself is perfect for our family of 5, with all the amenities and high-end finishes that provide a home-like feel. The kitchen is well-appointed, the family room and eating area are inviting and cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the two full baths are a great bonus. The check-in process was seamless and the communication from the staff was outstanding. The location is one of the best parts - so easy to walk into town to restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc. The ski experience is just as convenient. 5 minute walk to the free gondola, ski back to the unit. We've stayed on the mountain, which is great for ski in/ski out but then we had to find a way into town for the complete Breck experience. This unit's location is better. We'll be back!

Spring Break

As a family of 4 with 2 children ages 9 and 12, we found this specific condo amazing! The bunk beds were a huge win for my kids and the collection of board games had my son obsessed and wanting to play all the time!! The staff communicated so well too and were friendly!! Ski out is a short walk under the road to the Gondola. Ski in is 100 feet from the unit. Room was updated, clean, and spacious. We would stay in this unit again.

Gorgeous and cozy Suite!

We had a great stay in this Suite. The size is perfect, it feels very cozy and all the furniture and decoration is adorable. What we enjoyed the most was the super comfy bed and having our coffee in the porch. Lots of amenities and a well stocked kitchenette. We will certainly be back!

Spacious updated condo near downtown

The condo was clean and well stocked. My kids enjoyed the board games and the fireplace has an easy to use timer. There were plenty of blankets. Hot tubs were near (towels poolside). Ski locker helpful. The management was responsive (could text or call office) when the electronic door lock needed a new battery (though they did request I go to their office (two blocks away in ski boots) to get another key card to try first. Someone did come and change the lock battery while we waited. To clarify- “ski in” is dependent on Lower 4 o’clock and Gondola Ski back being open (these runs were not open Thanksgiving week). “walk to gondola” means walk across the complex entrance street, besides the main building, down two flights of metal grate stairs, thru an underpass (N. Park Ave), up two flights of metal grated stairs (no elevator) then across half of South Gondola parking lot and Watson Ave. , by the bus turnaround to the gondola. (I did speak with “Lauren” about this and she said she would share with the marketing team). Checkout required trash to be taken down stairs to the garage and to start the dishwasher. No issues with the garage. Typically took the stairs down one flight to the garage to car right under condo. Some outdoor parking available also. Overall this was a nice stay and would stay again (understanding lift proximity).

Great Stay in Breckenridge

We have stayed at Mountain Thunder Lodge on three separate occasions. This condo was the nicest we’ve stayed in at the property. The condo has been recently updated with new carpet and furniture. It was well stocked with everything you need to have a nice stay. Because this is booked through VRBO it does not have cleaning service through the property, but all other amenities are available. The pool and hot tubs are wonderful as is the underground parking garage. There was some construction happening on the road leading to the property, but it was not an issue and accommodations were made to allow for easy access to downtown Breckenridge.
