Stayed in this cabin Dec 22-27, 2025. Host was AMAZING… Answered all questions quickly and was available immediately when we were trying to access the cabin at check in. Cabin was easy to get to and with the improved Coosawattee Resort security, no problem for us or our family to get in and out of…KUDOS for that…. However…once we got into the cabin, there were absolutely NO Christmas decorations, not even a tree. The place is decorated with biblical verses wall hangings and even a master bath shower curtain which is very lovely and Christian like, but nothing to symbolize the Christmas Holiday. It was disappointing that we drove 635 miles and knowing our 4 and 5 year old grand children would be joining us in a couple of days for a family dinner and had no Christmas tree. Then I spent about an hour sweeping the dead and alive ladybugs from the floor. It was very clear that no one did an inspection hours prior to us checking in. Sheets and towels were clean, but not the day before clean and fresh. You could smell the difference. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, but its organization was hodge podge. Spent too much time hunting the utensil I needed. Pots and pans need replaced. Teflon coating was severely scratched and was flaking off into our food. Coffee pot needs replaced….it brewed but did not keep the coffee pot hot. As rental property owners for years, we understand it is imperative to inspect the days before or hours before a renter comes in.
