Welcome to Aska Highlands Lodge! Here you will find everything you are looking for in a quite vacation retreat in the Blue Ridge mountains of GA. Enjoy picture-perfect long-range views on a quiet cul-de-sac bordering the U.S.F.S. Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area. They call it “highlands” for a reason - seasonal guests will get to enjoy a spectacular 360-degree sunrise and sunset mountain views from atop of this mountain. This gorgeous cabin features high-end furnishings, hand-hewn log siding, three levels of decks and a covered party porch with a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace (bring your own firewood). Inside you will find a comfortable living/dining area with rustic log furnishings and comfortable leather seating facing the stacked gas fireplace. This cabin provides comfortable lodging for up to 10 guests. The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking big family meals. There is a KitchenAid mixer, an ice maker in the large refrigerator, microwave and the gas range with a double oven. Make your morning coffee with the Keurig or drip coffee pot provided and walk out to enjoy watching the mountains waking up from the main wrap-around deck. On the main-level is a master suite featuring a comfortable king mattress, private double sink bathroom with large shower and private entrance to the deck. The third floor master bedroom suite features a comfortable king foam mattress, wall-mounted TV, double vanity sink, large shower and private balcony to take in the western sky. The upstairs loft features a queen log bed, leather lounge chair for cozying up to a good book, and a work station desk that overlooks southern mountain views. Downstairs is where all the fun happens. Here you will find a large recreational room with high ceilings finished with wood and beams and wood paneled walls to complete the feeling of entertainment in a mountain lodge. Rec room amenities include tournament-size foosball, 12’ shuffleboard, electronic darts, TV, board games and bar area with wine fridge, sink and pub table. The lower level also features the “red room" bunkhouse that can sleep four or five guests and a tub/shower bathroom down the hall. Pour your drink and walk outside the rec room to the hot tub to enjoy the stunning southern sky and mountain range views. With so many amenities to enjoy, you and your guest can find what your looking for!

Aska Highlands Lodge is part of a private, gated community about 20 minutes from the town of Blue Ridge and equal distance to the town of Ellijay. The unique location of this cabin is due to the high elevation and the southern facing views of the national forest. The Noontootla Creek and hiking trail to the falls is within walking distance, and the Toccoa River with its world-class trout fishing from its many tributaries is just minutes away. Tubing, hiking and local restaurants and grocery are all close by. It is close to the tourist areas yet far enough away to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the high-mountain private wooded location. Because of the nature of the quiet residential neighborhood, strict rules apply regarding noise and conduct. All HOA and lease agreement apply and loud music, discharging of fire arms or fireworks and other loud noises will not be tolerated. Fines outlined in the agreement will be enforced and eviction and loss of rental amount may result. Guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking and prior to check-in.
