The space

This space is incredibly elegant, ph apartment, spectacular sea views, practically on the beach of Akumal, one of the most beautiful places on the coast of the Riviera Maya, Mexico! You will have so much at your fingertips that you may find it difficult to venture out of the Santamar by Tao complex.

Fully equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and dining room for 6 people, where you can prepare healthy meals at home. Large terrace with 2 chairs with spectacular views of the ocean.

Akumal is a true wonder, you can snorkel in the Mexican Caribbean. It also houses a marine research center dedicated to protecting turtles. There are also many things to see and do around Akumal, including water activities such as snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, kitesurfing and sailing. In addition, ecological parks with underground rivers, ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (natural freshwater holes) and much more.

Just half an hour from Playa del Carmen, Akumal is a small town in Quintana Roo, Mexico, known as the pearl of the Riviera Maya. Restaurants: Super recommended the Jungle Fish, you will be surprised with such delicious food, 10 minutes from the Condo, Do not miss the Turtle Bay Café & Bakery, known for its delicious food, just 15 minutes from the Condo and La Lunita facing the Caribbean Sea with its delicious food, among many more. Our location is isolated and less commercialized, so I recommend renting your own vehicle when you stay with us, you can rent a car from the airport or I can make recommendations, taxis are also available. To enter the Condominium there is a dirt road of 700 meters in the middle of the jungle. 

Other things to note

During your stay, enjoy complimentary amenities such as WiFi, smart TVs, a safe for your valuables, and bed linens, and bath towels. For reservations lasting 28 days or more, electricity is not included. Our local team will note the meter reading upon your arrival and departure, and charges will be applied accordingly. Any extra usage will be billed at $4 Mexican pesos per kW. 

To conserve energy, we kindly ask you to use the air conditioning judiciously. Please turn it off when you're not on the property and make sure all windows and doors are closed while it's in use. 

While there's no daily housekeeping service, it can be arranged for an additional fee. For extended stays (21 nights or more), there's a cleaning service charge of $1,000 Mexican pesos. 

Upon your arrival, essential items like toilet paper, soap, body wash, and shampoo will be provided, along with some garbage bags. However, items such as dish soap, sponges, and cooking condiments need to be purchased locally. 

Please note that the apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. Our starter kit includes basic household and bathroom items, but additional supplies must be obtained locally.
