Whether you are looking to enjoy the beauty of the driftless region, bike the local trails, fish our world-famous trout streams, or just enjoy a cozy getaway near local shops, boutiques, Amish communities and more, you'll be close to it all right here at Three Chimney Cottage! Our home features two bedrooms, one bath, as well as an open living and kitchen area that has a beautiful butcher-block island with bar stools, a drop leaf kitchen table, and original hardwood flooring. The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, range oven, and many new small appliances, including a microwave, a Cuisinart coffee center with drip, k-cup and iced options, as well as all of the cooking/baking dishes you will need for your stay! Our living room features a stunning view of the driftless horizon, a smart TV, DVD player, a power-recliner chair, and a queen size sofa sleeper. It features beautiful natural lighting, but also includes blackout curtains for guests! The master bedroom features a queen size bed with a heated mattress pad. A full-size dresser and chair accompany this roomy retreat, as well as black-out curtains for your sleeping pleasure. Our second bedroom has two twin-sized beds, as well as a large closet with lots of shelving and black-out curtains. Three Chimney Cottage sleeps up to 6 people. The bathroom includes a tub/shower unit, a vanity with storage, and a beautiful sliding barn door! A large hall closet has plenty of extra bedding, blankets, pillows and more! We have board games and card games on hand, along with DVDs, books and magazines. There is a basement laundry area, with a washer and dryer to use as you need! Our home features a large deck directly off the living room with beautiful cable railing and outdoor lighting, as well as outdoor furniture, and lounge chairs. Both the back and front yard are large enough for yard games and outdoor enjoyment, with surrounding trees for a secluded feel. There is a mudroom located off the deck, which provides the perfect space to lock up bikes, fishing gear, or any other belongings! Parking is located right next to the house on a private driveway. We are located directly along the Coon Prairie Bike Trail, a 5.5 mile multi-use trail between Viroqua and Westby. These two popular towns are only a 5-minute drive, making access to local shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, etc., incredibly easy! Only minutes away you'll find Amish country, greenhouses and bakeries. La Crosse, WI is a 30 minute drive, opening up a wide-range of activities and things to do, right along the Mississippi River.
