The Cardinal Casa is a secluded comfortable home on acreage only 10 minutes from Bobcat Stadium. Located in the hill country, our spacious home has everything you need for a getaway. Chill in the living room and watch the 65" Smart TV while birds drink from the birdbath right outside the front windows. Play bocce ball, badminton, or volleyball in the backyard or hang out in the shady front yard. Gaze at the stars at night in the glow of string lighting in your private zone of bliss.
The space
The San Marcos River and Aquarena Springs glass bottom boat tours are less than 15 minutes away. Also, the hiking trails on Lime Kiln Road are nearby and the Flying Armadillo disc golf course and playground are just around the corner.
Guest access
The automatic coded entrance gate is available for coming and going 24 hours a day. Cardinal Casa guests have private access to about an acre around the house. This includes a fenced front yard and a backyard that is fenced as part of the larger shared acreage. A co host resides in the yellow house near the entrance gate, and also a family member restores wood furniture in the metal building across from the parking area. Please accompany your pets when in the backyard or in the shared space around the ping pong table. Through the trees from the backyard sits the Bluebird Nest VRBO on its own fenced acre with a separate driveway. This 1970 Bluebird Schoolbus has been converted into a comfortable and whimsical living space. The rear connects to a new addition with a bathroom, livingroom, and sleeping loft for one adult or two kids. It is on one fenced acre in the hill country and has its own private driveway. The patio has nice cozy chairs and your choice of a propane or charcoal grill.
