The Space:
Welcome to your private Salt Lake City getaway in a lovingly restored century-old duplex. This thoughtfully updated home combines historic character with modern convenience, featuring two bedrooms, a stylish renovated bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room.

Enjoy the comfort of Google Fiber high-speed Wi-Fi, ideal for remote work or streaming on the smart TV. The home includes in-unit laundry, heating, air conditioning, and all essentials for a comfortable stay.

Parking is available on the street, with additional paid options at the nearby Village lot. Though you’re just minutes from downtown, the neighborhood remains peaceful and walkable—offering a true local experience with cafés, restaurants, and shops within easy reach.

Guest Access:
Guests enjoy complete privacy with a separate entrance and full access to the entire lower-level unit. You’ll have your own kitchen, bathroom, laundry area, and living space—no shared areas.

Please park on the street (free and easy), or use the Village parking lot nearby for a small daily fee. You’ll receive detailed check-in instructions before arrival for a smooth and easy experience.

Second stay at this location. Great stay once again. Love having the washer/dryer and the abundance of space. Only negative would be the lack of parking, but that was a minor thing as there usually a spot on the street a few houses down.

Cute house but dirty

We had the same experience as a small minority of reviews. The house was clean-ish upon arrival, but there was a full (wet) load of towels for us to fold and a full dishwasher to unload. The house itself was cute but it seemed like the people who own it had kind of thrown it together. There were only 2 pillows on the king size bed, barely any towels, and they were all stained, no washcloths. Things were dusty and looked as though there may have been a big construction project that was hastily cleaned up? A bunch of wood shavings on some surfaces, dirty lights and windows. It had definitely been cleaned, just not by a professional, which is what the fee is supposed to be for... Also, It seemed like some personal items were stored in the main part of the house that kind of grossed us out- deodorant, razors, etc. Our toddler found a disgusting hairy razor in the bathroom and cut herself with it. There was no thought put into the kitchen items- no cooking oil, hard to figure out where the coffee pods were, no hand towel set out. It just didn't feel like the hosts were "hosting," as compared to other places we've stayed. Check in instructions gave us a code but also said to use a key from the mailbox. When I asked to clarify, that question was ignored. But they did respond to say we could park in the driveway.

The house was clean and comfortable The overall impression on arrival was poor. The front porch was dirty and needed sweeping the front white bricks on the house were chipped and gave the impression of a geto neighborhood. Sorry owners but more care should be done to the outside. Also I’m using a walker so getting in and out if house with the frail handrail was not easy.

Salt Lake City - Trolley Square

Good location. Great host-very good place for 4 adults.Would be nice if more of the windows had screens to open up when weather is right. Other than that perfect well-priced place for two couples or family of 4.

Cute, clean, comfy, close to everything.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay here, we didn’t want to leave! Location is great for all sorts of downtown activities and walkable to many stores and restaurants. The home was clean, beds were extremely comfortable, equipped with all the creature comforts and in an adorable neighborhood.

Centrally located. Whole Foods and restaurants are within walking distance. Lyft was very reasonable for getting around. Host was wonderful, very responsive.

Quaint house near Trolley Square

I am afraid I had a similar experience to another reviewer regarding the cleanliness. Please note that most of the house was spotless which is hard to achieve in older homes. But I felt that maybe the cleaner had a toddler trailing behind because there were crumbs on the couch and carpet. This caused me to evaluate the sheets. They really looked like they had been slept in. The sheets had not been pulled tight as they would be in a freshly made bed and the folds had creases as they would if someone slept in it. I ended up washing the sheets before going to bed that night. Although I did contact the number, there was no refund offered for even a portion of the cleaning fee. Overall, I was slightly disappointed with this stay.

One the best places I have ever stayed. We loved it.

This home is a gem. Has everything you could need. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bathroom is beautiful. The living room is very nice and spacious. Has a very large dining room and a nice laundry room. The beds were so comfortable we slept great. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It’s an easy walk Trolley square or Livery Park. We stay in SLC area a few times a year. This is the best ever. We needed an extra night and were very easily accommodated. Great communication with property management. Couldn’t ask for anything better we will definitely want to book this home again.

Great property in Trolley Square neighborhood

This was our 2nd time staying at the Trolley Square house, managed by Private Vacations.We had a wonderful visit with our family who live near by. The neighborhood is safe, very walkable & just a few blocks to Trolley Square & Whole Foods. We definitely plan to stay here again. Kim & Brad B.

Nice, but needs work

Nice house in a central location, but needs work on cleanliness and communication. We showed up and noticed the sheets on two of the beds were pretty dirty. The beds appeared to be made up without changing the sheets. Stains and smears on the master, and trash tucked into the bottom bunk of the 2nd bedroom. Called the help number and it goes to voice mail saying the office closes at the exact time you’re allowed to check in. So I text the number as instructed and an hour later get a reply back that they’re contacting the on-site team and they’d get back to me as soon as they had an answer. Which never happened. So, we changed the sheets with what spares we could find in the drawer, washed what didn’t have spares (seems like all linen should have a spare set, because it should all get changed between guests right?) and moved on with our lives. In addition, we got to put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher from the previous guests, and while the couch had obviously been vacuumed the rugs clearly had not (dried food scattered about). Every indication was that the cleaning service was running behind and did a rush job. Which is gross but I can see how it’d happen. Although paying a cleaning fee and then re-cleaning most of the parts that matter stings a little. The never getting back or following up when I reached out though? Lame. With a little work this place could have been great

Great location.... just wonderful

This was our third VRBO in three years coming to SLC for a convention... Best place we've ever had. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and well stocked facility. Had everything we could ever want. Lot of space to spread out if there were more than the two of us. Will be hoping to book again next year.

More than delivered

The pictures don’t do it justice, it is much bigger and more charming than expected. The house was completely stocked with everything one needs during an extended stay…. laundry pods, kitchenware including paper towels and garbage bags, towels, soap etc,etc. Bring your personal items and some groceries and your home! Close to so many restaurants and grocery stores, beautiful quiet neighborhood. We plan on using the house again soon.

Great location on a nice and quiet street. The front porch and the floors inside were a bit dirty, but not a major problem. Some coffee for the Keurig would also have been nice as well as an ice tray in the freezer. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again.

Home near the hospital

The house was wonderful. Clean, airy with high ceilings, comfortable yet simple decor. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook healthy meals from scratch. Close to restaurants, hospital and events. We look forward to our next stay.
