Your holiday starts now in this beautiful holiday home that sleeps up to six guests, with the added bonus that up to two pets can stay for a small charge. All we ask is that you don’t leave your pets unattended and that you clean up after them - which all good pets owners do.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed offering plenty of room to stretch out. The bedroom has free standing furniture for storage and there’s also space for a travel cot. The master bedroom also had the added bonus of an en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has two single beds with a small wardrobe for extra storage space. There is also extra sleeping space in the lounge with the double sofa bed.

This property offers two bathrooms, both the main bathroom and the en-suite in the master bedroom offer a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet so there’s no queues for the loo or the shower.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare and cook your meals including hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle for that early morning cup of tea or coffee.

The lounge/dining room offers plenty of seating with its large corner sofa, armchair and four dining chairs. There is also a dining table for enjoying your family meals as well as a coffee table and flat screen TV to watch when you have time to relax and put your feet up. Additionally this property also benefits from double patio doors leading out to the wrap around decking, ideal for a morning coffee or relaxing evening drinks.

As you would expect with a property of this calibre there is double glazing and central heating throughout. For those chilly evenings there is also a fire in the lounge. A fair use basis on gas and electricity is included in your booking.

Just to make life easier there is parking right outside of the holiday home so not too far to walk.

SURROUNDING AREAS
Rye Harbour Holiday Park is located in the historic Cinque Ports town of Rye, and offers amazing walks through the Nature reserve located directly outside the park and the harbour within a couple minutes walk. The town of Rye offers many pubs and restaurant/cafes in its popular old town streets with both modern and classical shops
This property is also ideal for exploring the historic town of Hastings being situated approximately thirty minutes drive. Hastings has plenty to do for all of the family, from the Sealife Centre, to the Amusements and Crazy Golf and the plentiful number of pubs and restaurants ensuring a fun, active family day out.

LOCAL AMENITIES
Just outside the park you will find a village store for the essentials, a few miles down the road in Rye town centre you will find a supermarket for your bigger shopping needs.

RYE HARBOUR HOLIDAY PARK
This park has an indoor swimming pool, amusement arcade outside play park and open space, and offers a family bar and restaurant with an entertainment venue.

Wonderful stay - very comfortable accommodation
The park home was perfect for our stay. We could park alongside it, however the site didn't feel overrun with cars. There was a great wrap-around verander with gate, so we could leave open the main door and the French windows so out kids (and our Whippet) could go in and out freely and not wonder off! Good sized master bedroom with en-suite shower and WC the same size as the main shower / WC room. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Beds very clean and comfy! The kids had the twin room, which was cosy (small) but had large built-in wardrobe. Perfect for them. Kitchen very well laid out and everything we needed incl washing machine and dishwasher. Loung and kitchen all open plan, giving very spacious feel to it. The site at Rye Harbour has a tranquil feel and was quiet for the duration of the stay. It seems as though many holiday park homes were occupied by owners so well kept. Easy access to beautiful walks and short walk to local pub and a spot where we did crabbing (caught 13). Local shop to buy groceries. Needless to say Rye is near (recommend driving as it's about 1.5 miles inland) and Camber Sands a 15/20 minute drive to other side of the estuary. Only slight issue was water pressure having a shower. Fine mostly unless all neighbours are also showering (say at 09:00) and clearly the mains pipes serving multiple homes are a bit undersized. Not a major issue as once we knew this we showered outside this time with great shower/good pressure and run off combi-boiler, so no running out of hot water! Lastly, we were hesitant after reading the other review for this place. It must be a mistake as it states there was no en-suite and no microwave blah blah. I think the review was either malicious or a mistake as there are built-in and cannot have been missing. Can confirm place is exactly as listed.

Very disappointing
Property was not what we were expecting. Spent the first afternoon on the phone to the Agent. First phone call .....No TV In lounge. No microwave. Complaint about state of patio which was cracked and broken, covered in weeds and no furniture. (I have photos). Second call.... no wine glasses. Third call... advertised as two bathrooms, but there was one bathroom (toilet sink and shower). and one toilet plus sink only. Fourth call.... caravan door would not close. By the end of the afternoon, a member of staff from agency , brought TV, microwave and wine glasses. And she organised two chairs for patio (there was three of us) and got someone to fix the door.
