I have been traveling quite often and write travel blogs too. This was my family trip and let me provide the honest feedback... PATHETIC & TERRIBLE!!! My top concerns are listed:
1. We have booked 3 rooms. 2 rooms in our first booking, and the third one when 2 of our family members wanted to tag along. As per the hotels.com offer we paid the amount. Once we reached there they started giving various excuses on nonavailability of the specific rooms that were booked. When at the reception we argued, we were provided 3 different categories of room, since we were traveling with family and kids had no other options but to accept the offer.
2. The staff are still courteous, unlike the manager at the reception who is rude and turn blind eye at requests. Of course, you have to run pillar to post to get petty things fixed, like... switching on the geysers(controlled centrally), asking for water, quilts, and cleaning of rooms. We faced hitch ups like, the door swipe in keys ran out of charge and got stranded outside the rooms couple of times.
3. The hotel has western toilets operational, but surprisingly without any toilet papers...wondering how would you do your morning proclivities with out them. Either they should have India or Western. On asking to provide the toilet papers even at our expense, the manager was rude and we got into altercations.
This hotel should be off the list from Hotels.com for its pathetic service and facilities.
