Great place to stay! Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Great views and easy to get to. Just a couple minutes from the Dixie stampede. Hot tub and pool were great! Lots of cooking equipment available. Might want to bring extra pillows & throw blankets for winter stays. Hair dryer was not supplied.

Great getaway

It was a beautiful cabin with a wonderful view and having the pool was great and liked that everyone had their own bathroom too it was clean and peaceful would definitely stay here again

Major issue

We felt the property looks much larger in the photos. The refrigerator is small. We never did get the TVs to work or wifi to connect, which was ok because we didn’t spend our time watching tv. One of the corner pockets in the pool table has a hole and the balls kept falling out onto the floor. I didn’t think the communication with the rental company was very good because I texted and asked if we were good to arrive around 4:15 and they confirmed that we were but when we arrived around 4:30 the cleaners were still in there and were not finished cleaning. So we were greeted with trash in our kitchen, beds not made, etc. We would have waited in town if they had just told us it wasn’t ready instead of waiting on the deck with our kids and grandparents while they finished cleaning. We also had major issues one night when it stormed and there was water running down the 2nd floor bathroom walls and then leaking from the bottom floor ceiling from an obvious leak in the logs on one side of the house. The rental company didn’t seem too concerned when I called them at 7 am when our sons were woken up by water dripping on them. They did send someone out in the afternoon finally to suck up the water so they had a place to sleep that evening. I do not know if repairs have been made to the leaking logs. The view from the deck is beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of dishes/silverware.

Dissatisfied

Well when we got there early they said we could check in, then when we did the, code wouldn’t work. It took till 9:00 pm before we got in. 12 people, 2 garbage bags, no toilet paper. Didn’t really give a starter kit considering we got unpacked late and no store. Floors were dirty, windows filthy, For the amount we paid for this place, I would expect it to be cleaner. Also it seemed the more we cut the heat low, the hotter it got. But the views were beautiful.

The best view

Beautiful cabin. The layout of the property was great. Good location close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Once we got there I was prepared for the pictures to not exactly capture the real view but thankfully I was wrong. It was exactly as pictured and so beautiful. Exceeded our expectations

The communication was not great. Upon arrival our door code did not work. It took a long time for someone to answer the phone. Once they did it was obvious that the door code that I was given had not been changed for us. Secondly I’m surprised that the cabin wasn’t cleaner. I would t be surprised if the cleaning staff only came in to resupply the towels. General maintenance on the cabin is needed. Such as the furniture is obviously worn, tiles in the bathroom and kitchen areas have cracks, the TVs (which is minor) did not all work. The theater room did not have working surround sound. The porch rails were covered with bird droppings. The indoor pool option is very nice but the pool liner is also in need of maintenance, places are coming loose. The hot tub works, however not all of the jets. Be careful using the hot tub at night, the porch light is useless. All in all we had a nice stay (with our family) however I have no intentions of booking this property ever again.

Family vacation

As far as the location and the look of the cabin it was fine. The cabin was not clean. There was a beer can left when we came in on the cabinets, fake eyelashes left in the bathroom floor, fake nails on the porch, fake hair left at the hot tub, the downstairs pull out couch was messed up to where you couldn’t put it up and the bottom was pulled away from the springs, the upstairs pull out couch has a piece of metal that cut someone’s leg, the stairs to the theater room was dirty, the theater room had popcorn kernels all under the couch, one of the seats has a rip in it, the dishwasher is broken underneath. The grill needs to be replaced. There is only one cue stick that can be used. The rest have no tips to be able to play. There is a crack in the upstairs bedroom door near the door lock.

Communication disappeared

Well I not sure what happen with the communication that went silent after I was called at 5:20pm and was told we can't go to the cabin because there was no power. I have been driving since 4am and 13 hours later I get a call that there has been no power for two days and no ETA. I had three SUV's filled 12 people in all and now were told we can't stay with no ETA we weren't able to find a hotel for 4 hrs. because 20,000 people didn't have power since Christmas Eve. We were forced to stay at a Redroof motel that had food still left in the fridge an elevator with no elevator in it. It was disgusting and we have done everything to stay COVID free since pandemic. I feel my life was at risk however I called the next morning with no ETA still and no communication since call at 5:20 the night before. I called around and found three rooms in Pigeon Forge for my family. Much better rooms however still no communication. I called that night still no ETA. found out later myself power was restored. I called first thing the next morning and told them I will be at the cabin later that afternoon no matter what I was the only man on this trip packing and unpacking. We have a two yr. old as well which that in itself is alot of packing. When we arrived at 2:30 pm still the cabin wasn't cleaned and I received no call when I can arrive or not so we went just like I said earlier that morning 8:15 am. I called and while on phone a pickup truck showed up and a Spanish speaking man handed me the phone and his boss told me je doesn't speak english and that they weren't even notified till 1pm that this cabin needed cleaning. I was told it will be cleaned in an 1 1/2 hrs. so we left went in town and returned around 6pm. Cabin was cleaned. The following day I called to check on our refund we were told we would receive for the two days we weren't able to stay. Than I was told we had to call VRBO because we booked online NEVER was I told I had to call them. So I asked for there number and within two days we were refunded. If I hadn't called day after day morning after morning I would have never gotten a call because on the Cabins for You app I was communicating on before my trip went silent. I never got one response or call after I was called the night we were supposed to be there 5:20 pm after driving for 13 hrs. Very disappointed in lack of communication or concern about my family's vacation. We did enjoy our time in the cabin an understand mother nature, not communicatio

Why a 4

I clean houses for a living and the place was decently clean. But fans and light fixtures had lots of dust and cobwebs. Cobwebs in windowsills and quilts are looking a lil dingy. Other then these things it was a great experience, lovely cabin, had everything we needed/wanted.

Nice views

Cabin had nice views. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, game room, and movie theater. Pull out sofa in media room was broken. Washing machine broke. Neither were fixed during our stay. Spent a lot of time on phone about these issues. They did finally send a maintenance man, but he was unable to fix issues. Was still able to spend time with family, so all in all was a good vacation, just some inconveniences.
