Great location! Directly across the street from Peg Leg Pete's. 3rd floor view of the beach was perfect. Locals who live there were friendly, ease of access, 2 elevators, plenty of carts for helping to move furniture. Unit was VERY modern, every update you could imagine. Very clean and comfortable. Do not use dryer mode in the waching machine, it takes forever, use the giant dryer downstairs, only costs a quarter. Only complaint was no dresser at all in unit, so live out of your suitcase. No table to eat at but plenty of bar space and stools. You have a loft bed and pull out twin couch, but with glass doors on the master, no privacy. Better suited to just 1 or 2 guests, but will sleep a kid or two. Highly recommend!

June 2025 staycation

Best room ever stayed in at San Souci! This unit has been completely renovated, and I’ve stayed in at least four different units at these condos. This corner unit has a perfect view of pool and waves on gulf side. The sky put on a show and it was easy to watch from balcony or minimal steps to sand and waves. Easy to get on waitlist for Peg Legs and swim for an hour then walk over just in time to get sat at an inside table. Underwear bar an option too just jump out of the pool and walk over for oysters and live music. I’m a local and plan to reserve this unit again during future beach staycations. Be careful of floor mat by sliding door since floor was slippery. The unit does have bar stools now and it was easy to use combo washing machine and dryer. Noticed those comments in prior review so wanted to mention my experience.

Enjoyable week in Pensacola

We were impressed with the beautiful view from our balcony. The condo was just like the pictures online. I loved the open layout with very modern decor. The location was perfect. Peg Leg Pete's was directly across the street. We enjoyed walking to the strip (about 1.5 miles) to eat at several restaurants. Easy drive right down the road to Fort Pickens National Seashore- well worth the 25 fee! The pool and hot tub were a plus. The only negative that I can say is the condo does not have a kitchen table/chairs to eat on. A table would not be necessary (plenty of bar area) but bar stools would have been handy. There was one stool that was in the bathroom for the vanity area and I did pull it into the kitchen but one of us had to stand if we were inside. Not a huge deal but would improve the stay. We sat on the balcony most meals. There was a 2 seater with a little table in between to place your plate- plus 2 more chairs. There are FOUR large TV's- the sitting/reading chair was very comfy as well. I would say this is the perfect place for 2 adults. It also included beach service for the entire week! That was an awesome plus for us. Quick response for any questions that we asked from the host. We would highly recommend this condo!

Pensacola

We rented this unit before there were any reviews posted and therefore went by the pictures, and it appeared to have been recently updated. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with how clean, open and airy the condo felt. However, as we soon discovered, the updates were geared more toward esthetics than functionality. The most disturbing issue was the lack of a table with chairs or bar seating which left us balancing all mealtime plates on our laps. Also, the unit is not a true 2 bedroom. It has one bedroom with french doors (glass panels in the upper part and no coverings so very little privacy). The other sleeping space is an elevated bed and a pull-out couch; however, we did not test these out as it was just the 2 of us. I would only recommend staying here if a true dining space were provided and if privacy is not an issue.

Nice but problems

Location and view were great. LOVED having beach service. Comfortable bed & we were glad to have a washer and dryer. We washed everything but couldn't figure out how to dry. We had to take our clothes down and pay to dry them. Kitchen was beautiful and we did have 4 TVs. However, we could only get one to work.. that was where the kids sleep. We did call & management got right on it. It just took awhile to get it fixed. On Wednesday, they finally bought a Roku for one of the TVs. So we only had 4 nights with a TV. - NO storage/place to put our undergarments, shorts and shirts. Had to make do with the bench from the den, our suitcase and backpacks. - NO privacy; no blinds/curtains on the windows. Made for early mornings with the sun light. - No barstools or place to eat.. Although the kitchen was fully equipped, which was great. We had to put our beach stuff on the counters to be able to sit on the couches to eat. -No hooks for wet suits & there were no towel bars in the smaller bathroom. No room for toiletries on the counter & we also didn't have anywhere to put our clothes to take a shower. We got "use" to everything after awhile. We really needed a vacation so we made due. t

No table or chairs

This condo has been newly renovated, but there is no dining table or barstools at the counter. It is strange that they have a fully functioning kitchen but then nowhere to eat. The photos that were posted don’t show a dining table, but who would furnish a condo without one? We called several times but ultimately, no action was ever taken.
