Pretty run down. Had mix-mash furniture. The couch was dirty and stained. The bed in the main bedroom was so high off the floor it was difficult to get into. When I say it had the bare necessities, I mean the BARE NECESSITIES. The stovetop was filthy, no pot holders for cooking. The inside needs paint, there is a big chunk of tile missing in the dining area. We couldn't use any of the 3 televisions in the villa. None of the numerous remotes worked. We even contacted the live help desk for VACASA and they had no answers. We've been coming to Edgewater for years and we were very disappointed with this stay. We will not book with VACASA again.

Just the necessities.

This unit needs some maintenance. One of the outdoor chair seats was busted so we had 3 seats for four people. The handle on the sliding glass door was broken. The sofa was dirty. The whole unit needs some sprucing up. We love Edgewater and have stayed here many times. Clean but unimpressed.

Unit was less than ok

We stay at Edgewater Golf Villas every year we come to PCB. There were a lot of things that were less than desirable. No shelf guard on refrigerator door, patio sliding door loose, master bath towel rod coming out of wall, slow drain in shower/tub, sheets didn’t fit master bed, doors off track in washer dryer area, furniture nasty/old/musty smelling. Needs a lot of updating

Great location

Loved the location, the beach access, and the pools were amazing. But…. The cleaning service should change their mop heads and mop water…. The tile was very dirty, to the point we had to buy a mop and clean the floor when we arrived. Our socks were black, when we took our shoes off and walked through the villa just once. But everything else was clean.

Not good enough for the money

Vacasa - horrible. Communication was horrible. Said we could text. Sometimes we got a reply. Most times we got nothing. None of the TVs worked. Even the tech savvy teenagers couldn't get them to work. Parking communication. Horrible. Said we could only have one parking pass but there were 8 people in the unit. When I got online to purchase the parking pass, there was an option to purchase additional parking - even though another place said we could only have one. When we got to the gate, gate folks had no clue what was going on. Gave us a temporary pass that expired the next day. Never told us to go across to the main property. NExt day we did go across to the guest services building. The main desk wasn't the property management company for our condo. Then had to go into a little tiny hole in the wall office who also weren't the Vacasa people but could still help us with some parking passes. Sh!t show, I tell ya. There was only enough washing soap for one load of laundry... but the instructions say to start the washing machine when we left. So if we washed a load while we were there, how could we wash anything when we left with only one pouch of soap? One roll of toilet tissue in the entire building for 8 people. Had to go purchase toilet tissue. One bathroom had no tissue in it at all. Floors were dirty. Couldn't walk around barefoot. Not a throw rug in the entire place. Kitchen decently stocked with necessary utensils. Very surprised by that. But no muffin pan. Needs a muffin pan. Biggest thing. no TV for the entire time we were there. The one reply i did get told us to unplug and replug the TV. Really?

Bad stay

The floors were completely disgusting, I had to buy a mop to clean them. Our feet were black from walking on the floor the 1st night. The receptacles had broken covers and the plugs were lose in the box, some did not have covers. I have a 6 year old I had to keep h away from them. For someone with younger children they would have had an issue. This is a safety concern. The smoke detector did not work. We cooked some bacon and the burner would not turn off and burned the pan. Smoked up the Villa and no smoke detector went off. The tv in the living room did not work properly, the tvs in the rooms did not work. Half the lights did not work because of the receptacles. Low lighting. The dryer broke on us. The pictures on the listing did not match the Villa. The oven was dirty. Every time we used dryer it made Villa hot. The hose to the dryer was not connected , my husband connected so it would stop getting so hot. One of the shelves in the refrigerator was missing so we could not use the shelf. The pressure was messed up in the master bathroom because it came out of the shower head and the faucet. My daughter had an allergic reaction to sheets. So she took off the covers and washed them, the bed had nasty brown spots all over the bed. The couch stunk and has stains all over it, daughter said it kinda smelled like urine.

Bugs Everywhere

Booking was super easy. Pics of condo were great except not what was inside unit. TV didnt work in one bedroom. And the place was crawling with Roaches. And the kids had to wear socks cause if not in minutes their feet were Black. Location is great pools were great. Tram drivers were great. Just hard to sleep when you have Roaches crawling everywhere.

Not Up to Expectations

The unit had a very dirty floor, dirty linens left in the washer and multiple palmetto bugs, which made my wife scream. Thanks to host for refunding cleaning fee. The unit needs an exterminator visit before next guests arrive. Have stayed at Edgewater before and had great stay. Actually rented four condos at Edgewater this trip and the other three were quite good.

Very nice and great area!

Two bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen. Everything you need when your away from home. Secure area and within walking distance of anything you need. Will definitely stay here again.

to sleep. The desperately need ceiling fans on the bedrooms. The couch is worn so much it is not comfortable. There was not one cookie sheet/baking pan anywhere. In spite of these inconveniences, we enjoy our stay

Mini Vacay

Not as nice as the pictures lead you to believe. We walked in and the condo had not been cleaned from the last guests. I spoke with Vacasa (Jennifer) and told her the condition of the condo. This condo's furniture is very dirty, stained, and worn out. The couch feels like you are going to fall in. The beds are very hard, squeaky and worn. No ceiling fans in the bedrooms and they get warm because the air conditioner doesn't blow very hard. It took a while for the condo to get cool. The ceiling fan over the table is rusting. Dirty linens were piled in the middle of the bed, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, dirty pan in oven, floors not swept, baseboards were half an inch thick in dust/dirt, smelled like a wet dog inside, something in the dishwasher (maybe grease), trash outside the door, hand and toe prints on the walls, corners of the tub were black, toilet in master rocks. Jennifer apologized and said that she would get housekeeping to come immediately. About 45 minutes later Erica knocks on the door to 'drop off' clean sheets as she was instructed to do by local management. Shocked, I asked her to come in to see the condition of the condo. She took pictures and called her supervisor to share the state of the filth. Erica stayed and cleaned the condo. Took the comforters to wash them and brought them back the next day. Left extra sheets for us to put on the couch and chairs for us to sit on. The furniture is dirty! I spoke with a couple of management staff from Vacasa about the condo and they were 'very sorry'. Then I receive emails offering late check out for an extra fee. I feel like I was overcharged already with the state of the condo and you want to try to get more money from us? This condo has potential if the owners would update the furniture and bedrooms, add ceiling fans in the bedrooms and make sure the management company cleans the condo before someone checks in. I will never stay here again. I passed up other (CHEAPER) condos to rent this one because it looked nice from the pictures they show. I wish I could post the pictures that I took to show what it really looked like when we arrived. Boy, the joke was on us, for sure! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Huge Disappointment

We have stayed at this resort many, many times. This visit was hugely disappointing. The dishwasher was not properly installed and nearly crushed me when I attempted to load it. My husband had to stand there and hold the appliance in place while I loaded it to keep it from coming out of the counter and falling into the floor. The curtain rod in the Master bathroom was poorly put together. My husband went to retrieve a towel and the whole thing came flying off the wall. He attempted to reassemble it but judging by the looks of, it's been a know issue for a while. The shower curtain was too small for the shower and the rings were all miss-matched. Not necessarily a functionality issue but it looked really pathetic. The toilet was not properly installed and it moved any time you sat down to use the bathroom. There was a consistent smell of urine from the restroom. We had to light candles to be able to stay in the master bedroom for any extended amount of time (like to sleep). Have a little pride in your property. The hair dryer mounted on the wall was also poorly assembled and we couldn't go near the device without it flying off the wall and crashing into the counter (and everything on it). The walls had stuff caked on them and the white bed linens in the Master bedroom had what looked like blood stains in multiple places. My family and I visit PCB at least once a year and we always stay at Edgewater Resort. Our stays have never been short of amazingly wonderful until now. This unit was disgusting and half of the outlets did not work so I wouldn't even say it was fully functional. As a property owner/management company you need to take some pride in your property. My son-in-law's mother is visiting the US for the first time and we wanted to show her why we love PCB and Edgewater Resort. Instead, we found ourselves having to continuously apologize for the condition of the condo and it's contents. Horribly disappointing

Love the resort, but the condo doesn't do these photos justice!

Not as clean as it looks in the photos, the furniture in the living room needs to be cleaned, very dingy and had stains. While it's nice to have tile floors, they need to be scrubbed and not just a quick mop which pushes the sand and dirt around, leaving the grout and baseboards dirty, we couldn't walk around barefoot or with socks because they became black. Also, the locking system to get into the condo needs to be changed after each renting guest as the previous guests walked into the condo looking for something they had left behind hours earlier in the day. I hate leaving a bad review so I gave this place a 3 because the resort is great! Very clean and well maintained. There was lots of room at the several pools throughout the golf condos, and everyone was nice! The main lagoon pool was too cold to swim in and there was nowhere to sit as many people must lay towels and then go to the beach or back to their room, because the pool was empty! This is our second time visiting this resort and we plan to continue to come back here in the future. We had a great stay and didn't let the few negatives ruin our vacation!!!
