Cleanest Property I've ever stayed

Very clean property, perfect location, customer service was very prompt to respond, the pool was super clean as well. Check in and Check out was smooth.

Pet Friendly

If you have realistic expectations and are looking for a pet friendly, family friendly place near Orlando attractions with the BASIC conveniences of home - kitchen, laundry, etc - this fits the bill. Do not expect high end furnishings, home features or luxury accommodations. Place is spacious and rooms are clean, with lots of beds and baths. It has everything you could need in terms of kitchenware and fur baby can hang out in the pool area with the family without being tied up. It’s in a good location relative to Disney & Universal - depending on traffic, you can be at either park in 20-25 mins or so. A Publix is only 1 mile away for necessities. Home is a little dated and in need of some TLC, but nothing that would prevent you from enjoying the Florida sun and surrounding area attractions IF that was your goal. It’s ideal for families going back and forth between parks who want to be able to make meals, do laundry and have a private swimming pool. It would not be ideal if the home and its features were the primary vacation destination as there isn’t much of a yard, no grill, pool floaties, or other things to “do”. It’s in a tightly packed residential area with close neighbors on every side, so not much in the way of privacy and noise considerations at night - meaning you couldn’t have your kids yelling and playing in the pool at 10pm on a Tuesday night with very nearby neighbors who have school and work the next day.

Family stay

The house was very clean and spacious. It was located in a good part of town close to shops and restaurants. We were sent the wrong code to check in. The house could use some updating and better lighting.

DO NOT STAY HERE

This property is not in good shape at all! Dining room big table has legs that don’t even touch the ground so wobbly could not even eat as a family. Small glass table in kitchen tabletop was not even attached to where the glass could be knocked off and moved easily which not great idea with kids in house. Beds super uncomfortable and loud with any movement. Bar chairs had screws missing so couldn’t sit in them without potentially breaking. Paid for pool heat for the 9 days we were there and didn’t get any communication until 3 days remaining!! I’ve maker didn’t work, dryer didn’t work, window blinds falling off! They were going to relocate us to different house which was 7 hours away and some properties were not even in Florida anymore! Unacceptable. Been trying to get compensation for the house that I was told we would get and have got run around for 7 days straight! I would never stay with vacasa again!!

Good for short stay

Several things were broken at the property but it didn't really effect us. This home is perfect for a large family. Large community yard in the back to walk your doggie. Cute little bunnies hopping around outside. Beds were ok. 1 pillow wasn't enough.

Not Terrible...but,

Only one working outlet in entire kitchen, only 2 out of 3 bathrooms had working shower so adults had to share with kids, dryer takes 4.5 hours to dry a regular load, numerous slats missing from blinds (especially in bedrooms) so no real privacy, jets in spa do not work, no grill as advertised, 2 sections of screen house around pool are completely hanging off so lots and lots of bugs in pool area. **I contacted them several times and to this day have never ever received any response at all.**

Needs improvement

The house is nice but when we arrive one of the bathrooms had a towel full of little black hairs. I called as soon as I got there because the AC said it was on 80 and that filter must be changed also because the bathroom shower wasn’t working. They stated they will send someone out to fix it & they never sent anybody out to fix nothing. I’m not sure if the host ever found out of this since it’s like a third party type of thing. The beds were very very noisy & super uncomfortable to the point we were waking up with back pain. It’s a nice house just needs improvements.

Golf trip

House was very clean. Price overall was good. Unfortunately the master bed was very poor and long past its life. Location was as expected for our golf but unexpected was the constant traffic near our location even at 10pm. One toilet needs new internals. We avoided its use. TV in main family area is very small given the room size. Coffee pot needs replaced as well. Overflows with grounds. Luckily had a McDonald's just mile away. Location to grocery and other needs was very good Enjoyed the pool and overall house was acceptable for the two of us. We were spoiled with previous stay at house in Bonita Springs. Would not stay at this property again.

Best four nights in Olando

The room are very clean! Location are good, not far from everywhere! Special the pool is life saver! My kids love it! They do not want go outside,just staying in the pool! And the pool is warm up! The only thing for the room which is not that comfortable is the bed ,too soft for us! The neighborhood are very nice and clean!

Not what I expected

Our stay was overall great. The house is beautiful. The downfalls were that tv's were small, the pool or hot tub did not have working lights, and we spent the last 3 of our 5 nights fighting off raccoons that wanted to swim.

Rough start but overall happy ending

So our first day was pretty much a disaster, after a long day of traveling we were so excited to finally arrive at our rental only to find that none of our entry codes worked, we called the help number and we’re left outside waiting for 40 minutes so that they could reprogram our lock box. We finally got a call back in which someone gave us a code for a lock box that had a manual key. We finally enter the house and as we begin to look around notice that the lights are not working, so we call the help number again only to be given a run around for 3hours. We spoke to almost 6 different people none of which had concrete answers as to why the lights were off and when they would be put back on. We were told that an electrician would be there “in an hour” 3 times. At one point someone called us and said that there was an issue with someone actually paying the electric bill and transferring over the electricity from a previous owner, pretty embarrassing and unprofessional for a company, if you ask me, but finally we got in contact with a lovely customer service woman, Sherry, and she was able to help us and even told us we would be refunded for the first night due to the huge inconvenience. We are currently waiting on this refund, I will contact them again now that we have checked out to make sure we are refunded because it totally eliminated any chance of us doing anything that first night since we had to sit and wait around for the electric company to show up-in a very hot house. We ended up using the manual key for the rest of our trip because we were never given a code afterwards. Otherwise our stay went well, the house is spacious and comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Our only issue with the house was that the tv in the living room is tiny and most rooms the TVs and the furniture are outdated or not really able to be used. So if you happen to have a rainy day with a bunch of kids, bring games or a back up plan because you’ll be stuck in a house full of random books and nothing to do. Luckily we had the luxury of beautiful weather so we spent most of our time at the pool which is definitely the highlight of the house. Even through the initial headache, we will definitely return because the pool and privacy was worth the price. I pray that next time they have all these little quirks worked out.

Needs some upgrades!

Nice, spacious home, good quiet neighbourhood. House need some TLC and upgrades. We were not expecting a luxury home. The kitchen is very poorly stocked in regards to cook wear, 1 very large pot and 1 very small pot. 3 frying pans that are either so badly warped you need to place a jar under the handle so it will lay flat on the element, or so badly scratched up everything sticks. Only the 2 small elements worked on the stove consistently. The kitchen faucet is substandard and wobbles all over the place when using it. Fridge door only closes when pushed firmly, and broken door shelf. Kitchen step-on garbage can is broken. Seats on kitchen chairs are very dirty and had to place towels on them to feel comfortable sitting on them. Main bathroom you couldn’t fill the bathtub because the lever to the shower was stuck in the in shower position. Master bathroom shower was mouldy and toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor so every time you sat down it moved. Master king bed very uncomfortable and VERY squeaky, you couldn’t even turn over without waking your partner. Patio furniture needs an upgrade, lots of chairs and loungers, but very dirty. Lots of pool towels, thank goodness because we had to cover the chairs before we could sit on them. Garage door didn’t open so couldn’t park our car inside. Ad stated there was a telephone, found no phones in the house. Clothes dryer took 2 hours to dry towels, pulled out machine and empties lots of lint out of vent hose, didn’t work any better. Heat didn’t go about 70 F, was cold first few days of our trip and were freezing in the house. Regular maintenance, some upgrades and TLC of this home would make a huge difference. I booked this home through VRBO but they wanted you to create an account with their management company to correspond with them. I feel all dealing should be done on VRBO. I would love to be able to post some pictures on this review.

Lots of issues

The good: -spacious -location The bad: -cable didn’t work, said they’d send someone out to meet the cable guy. No one from the rental company came so we dealt with the cable guy when he came. They did give us a small refund for the cable issue but I’d rather have not had to spend my vacation dealing with the cable company. -the pool is on a timer and you can’t change the temperature until the afternoon. We couldn’t swim in the morning at all. -hot tub was tricky to figure out. When we called to ask, they told us it wasn’t a hot tub but a smaller pool. It was a hot tub. -the base and top of the blender are there, no carafe though. -some of the burners on the stove didn’t work. -the grill is broken and doesn’t work. -pool cleaning company showed up randomly on Sunday afternoon and we were given no warning. When we called, they said “it’s a private company who just shows up when they have time”. We were using the pool when they arrived so we had to get out and wait a while after they left to be able to use it again. -the pool deck was disgusting. The chairs were stained brown and the deck had old dog poop on it. -due to lack of pictures and not being given the property address in advance, we were unaware of how close together the houses were. Would not have paid that much for this place if I knew the pool would be so open and neighbors would be as close as they were. No privacy whatsoever, lots of screaming from our neighbors all day.

Our Florida Vacation
