The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

This coastal 1BR with private Den condo is perfect for your next beach-cation! It's well-equipped with everything you, your family, and a group of friends could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, and microwave. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The breakfast bar is ideal for quick meals on the go and it seats six people comfortably. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind!

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Very few things worked. Starting at door lock combo or key. Louvered folding doors off hinges. Light

Bulbs out. Garbage disposal didn’t work. Place was dirty. Hair on bathroom floor. Dust balls on floor. Internet was awful. Tv in master bedroom didn’t work. The tv in living room couldn’t change channels until it had been on for 10 minutes. Kitchenware was limited. I’m sure I’ll think of more. I left a note in my envelope. I’ll never visit again. Oh couch was dirty and beds and pillows were awful.

Internet and TV Issues

The Wi-Fi was bad so if your planning on working while you are there you may want to reconsider. The TV in the living room was not working however that was corrected mid vacation. The closet door in the extra bedroom almost hit me in the head. All of this has been reported to Vacasa.

Great location but deceiving pictures

View and location were great but the ick factor of the condo itself was a 10! The pictures are very deceiving. Needs a top to bottom scrubbing and paint. Not a good living space even for a smaller group. I refused to use kitchen appliances, dishes, pots etc because nothing looked clean at all. Great place to stay if you plan to eat out and spend only sleeping time in the condo.

Very old and dirty furniture.

The furniture was very dirty and stained. There was only one lightbulb that worked in the bathroom vanity. We let the Manager know about both problems and they gave us a blanket to cover the couch but never replaced the light bulbs. The living room tv did not work and we texted, and they gave directions, but we could not fix it. We texted again but no one responded.

No internet, gross condo

There is no internet here. We had to use our phone as a hotspot to stream tv and they were of no assistance. The living room tv looked like it was from the 90s with the quality of the picture. Condo felt gross. Cushions had what looked like could be blood stains on them. I wish we would’ve stayed somewhere else. Location was good though.

Great room, lousy preperations

Overall good weekend. However check in was bad. No contract was sent to me, so I had to spend a half hour on the phone getting it sent and signed. The door code was wrong so I had to get a maintenance person to open the door. There was no envelope inside the door with 22nd floor code in it.

Beautiful place

Great location, condo was clean and provided a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher and laundry detergent which was greatly appreciated. It also had bath towels and sheets already rented and on the beds which I didn’t expect but greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again! Only negative was the wifi, the condo didn’t have its own wifi. We had to use the building wifi which worked sporadically. Not the end of the world for us but for anyone relying on wifi, this would have been a problem.

Great place to spend your vacation

Very nice, clean place to stay with outstanding views of the ocean and quick beach access. Quiet and peaceful. This condo is outstanding and we plan to rebook. There were only 2 minor negative points... The two of us ran out of hot water during showers, and the inside furniture, the couch and chair, were not very comfortable. New furniture would make it perfect. Otherwise, an excellent place to vacation.

Nice but could be updated and cleaner

I was not happy that the vents in both bathrooms were quite dirty as well as the toilet paper holder and towel bar in one bathroom half off. Also one lampshade was missing from the master bedroom. Just the bare bulb. Lots of dust. I texted Vacasa and was told someone would be in touch to make it right but no one ever was.

Amazing Views - Average Accommodations

First, let’s be honest. You’re booking this condo for the views and the convenient beach access. The views from the balcony and master bedroom are amazing. If you love sunrises, this unit is for you. Ceiling to floor windows in the master let you see all of it. The unit’s accommodations were good, but not great. Everything just left a little to be desired. To us, it APPEARED that the owner does not visit this condo and isn’t interested in making it any better. They seem to be content with relying on the views and location to garner business traffic. Inside, I can best describe it by saying it just needs a little love. You can tell the walls haven’t been painted in a long time. Scuffs everywhere. There were other minor issues like lamp shades missing, light switches not working in the 2nd bedroom, toilet paper holder was missing a side in the master, so it couldn’t hold any paper. A few cracked floor tiles, slightly frayed rugs, mismatched appliances, etc. Some other things to know: - The unit does NOT have its own WiFi. You use the building’s open network. The signal strength is iffy at times, and it’s not a secure network. I’d advise against logging into too many websites, especially banking, so the network is not super-usable. If you’re looking to work remotely while in Ocean City, this is probably not the unit for you. - You don’t come here to watch TV, but if there’s a big game you want to watch during your stay, you’ll watch it in blurry, standard definition. No HDTV here! - Several trash cans didn’t come with a liner. Not even a starter. This is just one of those things I don’t understand. - There were starter supplies of dishwasher pads, laundry pods, TP, and paper towels. If you want to wash your hands, better bring your own soap. Same goes for washing dishes by hand. And speaking of dishes… - There were only 7 forks, 7 spoons, and 6 knives. Plates were also in limited supply. If there are 4-6 of you, you’ll be doing dishes every day. - Vacasa check-in and check-out was super-easy, and communication was good. - The building’s location was great for us, being away from the Boardwalk, away from the center of activity. That’s not our thing, and we appreciated that. - The building had 4 elevators, all of which were in service and fast to travel between floors, making it easy to traverse between levels. We’d consider staying at Golden Sands again, but we’re 50/50 on if we’d stay in 1104 again.
