The holiday cottage is located just a short drive away (12 minutes) from the Otočec Golf Course, where golf enthusiasts can tee off on a scenic 18-hole course. Also close by is the picturesque Otočec Castle, the only one that is on an islet in the river Krka. Meanwhile, the historic town of Novo Mesto is a 10-minute drive from here. For outdoor enthusiasts, a 15-minute drive takes you to the Krka River\'s Otočec Canyon, perfect for hiking and nature walks. A number of scenic hiking trails are also nearby to appreciate the unique beauty of the Dolenjska region.

Easy day trips include visiting the stunning Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a 90-minute drive away. The nearest international airport is in Ljubljana, about a 70-minute drive from the cottage. Conveniently, there\'s a supermarket just a 5-minute drive from your apartment.
