Home away from home

We had a wonderful time here. Had everything you need to make it a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing. Plenty of sitting areas, loved the hammock. Great communication from the property manager. All very helpful if there was a need. Will definitely be back if I visit Grand Cayman again. Thanks.

Relax in Paradise

Sea Magic is fabulous. This is the location if your family likes low-key, relaxing vacations. We spent two weeks enjoying the house, the kayaks, and Bioluminescent Bay. Amazing stay!

Beautiful property located right on Bio Bay and very close to Rum Point and Starfish Island. My parents and I took the available kayaks out on Bio Bay each night and saw bioluminescence every evening! We also took the kayaks to Rum Point and Starfish Island where we did see starfish! We enjoyed this part of the island and were very happy we stayed here versus seven mile beach area. We did rent a car and drove the entire island during our stay and saw many beaches. All were beautiful, Bio Bay is just calmer and quieter. Almost all tours head to the places we were able to see on our own each day. We took the Cayman Ferry taxi to Camana Bay from Kaibo (just anround the corner from Sea Magic) and that was a nice little boat trip across the island. Judy, the property manager was great with responding to questions. It was a wonderful stay and I hope to stay at Sea Magic again!

Relax in Paradise

We chose the North Side for it's peace and tranquility. The house was great and had everything you need to relax and cook at home by the inlet and pool. There are also several local establishments within a short drive if you want to get out for lunch/dinner and a cold beverage. The kyaks are great to go out on the waters of the inlet to explore...and you can paddle to the Bioluminescent area of the bay when the sun goes down. Overall this is a great spot to enjoy life and the many beauties Grand Cayman has to offer. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to be back as well!!!

Enjoyed, memorable vacation

Clean house and more than enough space for our family. The backyard beachfront bioluminescent bay was a nightly kayaking treat. Most things to do on the island (Stingrays, starfish, Botanical Garden, Crystal Cave) is closer to Rums Point, so shorter drives/boat rides. Also recommend renting a car, and Hurleys grocery delivery.

Most incredible stay

Couldn’t have been more thrilled with our stay here! The house was incredibly spacious and had a lovely indoor/outdoor area. The fact this is the bioluminescent bay and we were able to experience such beauty was remarkable. We took the kayaks out in the evening and were able to see it. 10/10 recommend a stay here!

Peace

If you want peace, then stay here. Beautiful house on the water with a private beach. Going into town for dinner, etc. is a 45 minute drive. There a few options closer to the house. Zero traffic and few people. Hot tub was great.

Relaxing family getaway

We had a wonderful and relaxing beach getaway at Sea Magic. It’s a beautiful home with a fresh beach feel. It’s location in the bay feels private and peaceful. We loved kayaking in the bay and the beautiful views.The upside down jelly fish kept us from snorkeling like we had hoped. There was a red starfish that hung around the dock and Rum Point was just down the road to catch a boat out for snorkeling or other water activities. We loved Kaibo! We liked making day trips to Seven Mile beach (about an hour drive) and then coming home to the privacy of Sea Magic. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Very relaxed

We loved our time at Grand Cayman. Crazy how you can be 7 miles away via water and yet it takes an hour to get to most places. We lived the bedrooms and the use of the kayaks and the little pool. Great vacation!

Sea Magic

Great property in a great location if you are looking for a more relaxed, quiet vacation away from the chaos that is seven mile beach. We hit the lunar cycle just right for vibrant light in the bay, which is right out front and accessible with the provided kayaks. Kayaks themselves could use replacing, as one had a hole in it and one of the paddles were broke when we arrived. Both problems were quickly fixed while we were there, so kudos to the property managers for that. The jets on the swim spa go a little wild at times spraying outside of the unit itself, getting everything soaked in it's path. No big deal and it was always good for a laugh watching the kids freak out when it happened. The house itself was perfect for our family of 4. Very nice screened in outside space on both levels, road and beach side. The spiral staircase makes it feel like an upscale Swiss Family Robinson home. Very clean, comfortable, and up to date. All of the amenities were provided including some condiments in the fridge, coffee/filters, bath towels, and beach towels. We would definitely stay here again. Looking forward to seeing the updates to Rum Point when we do. It was our favorite area we discovered on our previous trip to the island and the reason we chose to stay in the area this trip. Literally the only let down of the trip was the current condition of Rum Point. Hoping it keeps its original charm after completion.

Fantastic

Sea Magic was great. The property was very clean and tidy. Quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Nice landscaping. All of the rooms have screens so the air con is not required. The kitchen had 2 pots and 2 pans so I dont think there has been much cooking going on there but otherwise everything we needed was there. WiFi worked fine. The spiral staircase leading upstairs was a bit tight getting our large bags up The property has a nice sandy beach into the bay. Calm protected water. The bioluminescence was great to see. The orange single seat kayak has two holes in the keel which I patched with silicone as a temporary fix so beware. The double seat kayak is fine and we used it to paddle out to the reef for snorkeling. The sand flat east of the point is kind of a mini stingray city and easily kayakable as is Starfish Point. When we get back around to Grand Cayman we would definitely stay at Sea Magic again. Highly recommend Tukka for great food. And avoid the coconut snapper at Kai bo point; seems to be Gordons fish sticks

Perfect quiet getaway

This was the perfect quiet getaway my husband and I were looking for. The house is in a beautiful location & we were able to see the bioluminescence in the lagoon right out front. We brought our paddle boards with us and enjoyed those on the calm waters just off the private beach. We also snorkeled. Enjoyed coffee on the beach, the dunk pool/hot tub and amazing weather. Beautifully decorated, comfortable home. We hope to return again soon!

Winter getaway

My family and I spent 10 days at this beautiful property. It is in a quiet neighborhood perfect for relaxation. The property is as advertised. It was clean and very well appointed. We had an issue with the water heater but the property manager had it resolved in about an hour. I can't wait to return to Cayman and I would stay at this property again.

Paradise on Grand Cayman

We had a wonderful experience at Sea Magic on Grand Cayman. The property is everything described in the listing and more. Perfectly located at the open end of Bioluminescence Bay, the vistas and water activities were awesome. The two kayaks provided were a big plus. Janice from Cayman Villas was very helpful and answered all our questions. The house is beautifully decorated and the floor plan is very comfortable. The Rum Point area is very mellow and has a very private, non-touristy feel. We can’t wait to come back to Sea Magic!
