Relax on the large couch with an accent chair and coffee table, perfect for unwinding or enjoying the impressive 150-inch projector. Stream your favorite shows and movies by logging into your personal accounts (just remember to log out before you leave!).
Ideal for a weekend escape, the kitchenette is equipped with basics, including a drip coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery, and dishes.
Enjoy a clean and updated bathroom stocked with fresh linens, toiletries, and essentials. Shampoo and body wash are conveniently provided. The water heater at this home can accommodate approximately 15-20 minutes of hot water. Please plan showers accordingly.
The plush queen-sized bed has been praised as one of the comfiest by our guests. Adorned with fresh linens and chic décor, it’s the perfect spot to relax. A mounted smart TV is positioned across from the bed for added convenience.

This is a back house behind the main property at this location. The front property is also available to rent if you should need extra space for additional guests. Access to the pool and garage are reserved for the main house ONLY. For the safety and security of our home and our guests, there are exterior cameras on the main house that monitor the outside of the back house and record with motion.
*Please note - once you park, you will go through the side entry gate which goes through the backyard to the front of the house. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please let us know. *

You must be in good standing to book with us and have positive rental history and reviews. We do not rent to local Lubbock residents.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability)
Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour, for up to 2 hours. Early check-in: Payment must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. Late check-out: Payment must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the evening before departure.
**Please do not have mail sent to this property as we do not have the mailbox keys. If you are needing something delivered from USPS, you will need to contact the local post office to make pickup arrangements.**
Parties and events are strictly prohibited at this property. If there is any violation to this policy, a fee of $500 will be charged immediately.
This property is not pet friendly so please plan of leaving your furry friends at home. There will not be any exceptions to this policy due to the owner's severe allergies and a fee of $250 will be automatically applied if you are caught in violation of this.
We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense.
Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

Guest Access:
This home has a private entrance through the side gate. All areas of the back house are available for use with the exception of the locked cleaning closet, main house, backyard, pool, and garage.
The Neighborhood:
Cypress Lounge is located in the sought after Historic Tech Terrace Neighborhood. Located within walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and one block from a bus stop, making this convenient to surrounding amenities.
Getting Around:
Main roads University and 19th Street are nearby as well as Loop 289 and Marsha Sharp Freeway. Quick access to everything Lubbock has to offer! Other than Uber, Lubbock has City Bus Transportation.
Other Things to Note:
Check-in information, including the keypad code, will be sent the afternoon before your check-in date. We reserve the right to deny any alteration requests.

Host-Initiated Cancellation Policy
While we make every effort to honor all confirmed reservations, there may be rare instances where cancellation is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the event that we must cancel your reservation, the following terms apply:
Full Refund: Guests will receive a 100% refund of any payments made toward the reservation.
No Additional Liability: Our responsibility is limited strictly to the refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to alternative accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.
Best Efforts to Assist: In the event of a cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodations within our property network, if available, but we cannot guarantee availability or rates.
Force Majeure Clause: We reserve the right to cancel the reservation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to property damage, utility failures, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations that affect short-term rentals.
Sale of Property: In the event the property is sold prior to your scheduled stay, and the new owner chooses not to honor future reservations, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of any payments made, but we will not be held responsible for securing alternate accommodations or covering any associated costs.
Removal from Rental Market: We reserve the right to cancel reservations if the property is permanently or temporarily removed from the short-term rental market for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation or liability will be assumed.

House Rules:
- No pets! Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fee.
- No house parties. Unauthorized parties will result in an immediate $500 fine plus damages.
- No smoking inside the property.
- No excessive volume that would disturb the neighbors.
- Clean up after yourself. This includes all dishes and food items.
- If you break something, message us and let us know immediately.
Interaction with Guests:
Our interaction with guests is very minimal but if you should need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out.
