⚠️CAUTION: (1) apartment on the 5th floor, NO lift. The ceiling is 2 meters high; (2) Being a 2-centuries old building, the neighbour's noise is audible; (3) A full reconstruction is currently underway in the front building, which may result in daytime noise on weekdays. This is beyond our control and is expected to last until the end of 2026.

1️⃣ APARTMENT:
Designed to provide a romantic setting for a couple or small family, is it country-style themed✨
The large double bed is very comfortable and the bedroom has views of the Santa Justa Lift and much more from downtown. The separate bathroom is sleek and chic, with a shower, WC, and washbasin, the kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is furnished with the utmost comfort.⭐
The bed sizes are 140*195cm (double) and 80x200cm (single).

2️⃣ EXPERIENCES:
Within walking distance, Lisbon's best experiences:
- ✈️Transportation: sightseeing bus stop (hop on/hop off), metro stations Baixa-Chiado and Rossio are down the block as are many key-route bus and tram stops, and the train station.
- ⛲Culture: all main sights, attractions, tours, Fado music, museums, and more within 15 minutes walking range;
- ☕Food: an infinite choice of restaurants with great Portuguese food, ranging from popular to 2 Stars Michelin or the TimeOut Market, many delicious pastries shops, ice cream parlours, cafés, wine-tasting shops, etc. within 15 minutes walking range;
- ✌Fun: Lisbon’s renowned nightlife with its maze of bars and clubs at just 10 minutes walking distance at Bairro Alto, and Cais do Sodré with its famous pink street;

The location was excellent. Could not have asked for a better spot.The only issue is it is on the 5th floor. Make sure you are ready to do the climb 1 or 2 times a day. It really is a bit much, but if you are up for the challenge it was very nice and a reasonable price.

Great location but a bit loud with the restaurants below on a pedestrian street. And we didn’t expect a 5th floor walk-up. But they were very accommodating in getting us access to a very nearby parking garage which was super helpful. Nice balconies and the AC was very welcomed.

First the not so good. The first two nights, the neighbors above us were terribly noisy. 23:00-2400 the first night and 4:30-5:30 the next day in the AM when they checked out. The next neighbors that moved in were great and respectful.The step were a workout but the online reviews prepared us for that. They were a good workout.The really good was the location. We also enjoyed having the air conditioning especially during the peak hot times of the afternoons. The place really worked out for our time in Lisbon.Oliver Apartments was great in communicating before our arrival and questions that came up. Thank you!

Great location!!! Booking, check-in and out, keyless access, and communication was great. The apartment does not really have a separate twin bedroom, as I expected. Rather, it is part of the entry, so nothing has separation except the bathroom. The apartment was clean when I arrived, but the entrance and stairwell are NOT. The railings were a little sticky even and there are 86 steps to the 5th floor and they are narrow and quite steep. I actually saw a roach scrambling across the kitchen floor my last night there which is quite normal in a large city, but surprising to me on the fifth floor in a clean apartment.

Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment in the heart of the old town. Perfect location being so close to many attractions and public transport. Quiet at night. Recommend it, we had a fantastic 4 nights. :)

Not chic, but fishy from restaurant exhaust. Mutipke bugs killed. Olivier Apt says “not my fault”

The reality: 5 flight walk up was filled with dirty storage containers. When I opened the door to the apt, I was met with an overwhelming smell of mackerel.Then I noticed an ant crawl out from the indoor plant. Then another, and another. After killing those I started noticing mosquitoes camping out on the low ceiling. My mosquito hunt led me to the kitchen, where I could see a restaurant exhaust fan blowing into the window of the apt. Even with the window closed, the mackeral smell leaked in everywhere.At this point, I contacted the VRBO. The VRBO chat bot said to contact the rental agency. My e-sim only covered data, not phone calls. I messaged in vain through the VRBO app. Then I resorted to finding a local phone. Only then did the owner pick up. I explained the situation and he said he would send someone.After not seeing anyone for an hour and a half, and the workday ending on a Friday night, I started searching for other accommodation. The mackerel smell at this point was in my clothes. He said he was escalating, and after 15min of back and forth WhatsApp texting, he said: “We have tried to find a solution with our team, but its not our fault, the smell come from the restaurant”. So, please call VRBO.Of course, with e-sim, I could not do so. I begged this guy not to rip me off. But in the end, he never got back to me. And with VRBO’s chat bot sending back to the owner, I was stuck.Terrible Terrible experience. Most expensive travel lesson I’ve ever had.

The place is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for travelers, very convenient. The only thing is we need climb 5 levels of stairs every day. It’s ok for my son, but a little bit hard for me.

Great apartment!

We loved our time in this apartment. It had everything we needed. It was comfortable and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The steps were challenging but it was no surprise- the description was clear! I loved the view with the balcony. We could open up the door and listen to the sounds of the street come alive. Our favorite nearby restaurant was Tapas and Friends. It was amazing!!

Lovely apartment in the historic district

Beautiful apartment that was clean, well appointed and as advertised. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. As mentioned, it’s on a pedestrian street so you have to walk a couple blocks to get there but it was easy to use the metro and catch uber a couple blocks away. And don’t ignore the mentions about the stairs. There are 80 steps and it’s a historic building so so they are narrow. But the view is worth it! Be sure to check out Baia Do Peixe restaurant in the square. Amazing seafood very well priced. And Brew for local craft beers.

Much tighter and darker than expected

Check in was fine, though we would have appreciated someone meeting us and helping us up the many narrow, shallow and steep stairs. Our place was much darker and much less spacious than shown in pictures. The bed is a double as stated and comfortable enough, but the duvet was filthy, smeared with makeup and sweat stained, obviously not washed and changed out in a long time. The shower floor felt like it was going to cave in so we stepped very gingerly and the grout has black mold. On the positive we had a small kitchen with espresso machine and a washer.

A gem of a location and perfect charming apt

We had a lovely stay in Lisbon. The location was perfect overlooking a pedestrian neighborhood filled with quaint restaurants and shops. Close to all modes of transportation. The apt was charming, clean, and we fell in love… Just to know- its up 4 flights of steep stairs. A bit short of breath at top. Not for those w knee or weight concerns. Otherwise, would highly recommend!

Fabulous Location

The apartment was everything that was promised in the VRBO listing. Comfortable, clean, airy and bright. Super with good, reasonable, amenable restaurants right outside the door and handy to the Christmas market and the hop-on hop-off bus. The only downside was it was up eight flights of stairs with a total of 100 stairs. It was great for my cardio, however!
